About the neighbourhood
The farmhouse sits above the village and is remote and rural, not for glitz and glamour. Truly a get away from it all location; clean air, no noise but birdsong and farm animals, huge landscapes and dark skies. Surrounded by lots of history locally and in our border towns where textiles are still the dominant industry. Stunning cloth and designs can be bought. Local distillery for whisky and gin. Eating our is possible locally all year, our 2 cafes and hotels serve quality local produce every day.
Getting around
A car is advisable.
