In there used to be a 'Ladies Waiting Room' in olden times, now it's a ground-floor bedroom

The Sun Room is a great room for having tea in the afternoon, and cake!
The Drawing Room. You don't have to draw, you could simply watch a DVD or draw wisdom from the fire

This luxurious and comfortable self-catering property was formerly a Railway Station. It has been lovingly restored to a high standard, and railway architectural features have been retained wherever possible. All five bedrooms are en-suite, and there is a generous amount of lounging areas, including the former ticket office with open fireplace, drawing room with wood-burning stove, sun room, and large hall. Dining table seats twelve, and kitchen is fully equipped, with AGA, electric oven, induction hobs and microwave oven. High-speed WiFi is included, and Smart TVs in communal rooms. This property stands in substantial private grounds, but is still within easy walking distance of various shops, restaurants, bars and Mahon's Hotel.

The station house is such a hidden treasure, Jane and Floyd have done such an amazing job restoring the old Irvinestown station into a modern house but with a lot of the original features kept intact. They couldn't have made our stay any better, they...More
