Situated a few minutes stroll from Quillan centre, this very pretty house welcomes you to enjoy spacious rooms, fully furnished throughout with complete equipped kitchen. Every room has open views to the mountains. Parking is directly opposite the property in a quiet non-through residential road. From the large entrance hallway with cloakroom, walk through to the main lounge and dining area which leads onto the very pretty courtyard garden. Outdoor seating and dining provided as well as sun loungers on the upper level secluded roof terrace catching sun from midday to late evening. Enjoy a restful night’s sleep in the spacious bedrooms both with new ensuite bathrooms. You will find ample space to place personal belongings and hang items of clothing. Guests on arrival to this lovely house are made welcome with a starter hamper to include fresh milk, bread, fresh coffee,tea and fruit juice to ease their arrival and first morning. This house offers you both peace and comfort for your stay giving ease of access to all Quillan and it’s surrounding areas have to offer. Lovely house, tucked away a short step from the centre of Quillan. It had everything we wanted for a relaxing long weekend away and as a base for exploring (we went skiing). Stephen was a great host, thanks!

About the neighbourhood
The Pyrenean mountains surround this quaint ancient town of Quillan. The river Aude known for white water rafting and fishing, flows through passing under the historical bridge in the central market square. Quillan is served by local shops and banks as well as many choices of restaurants and cafes. There are two market days abundant with local produce and wares. The community is vibrant and welcoming to it's visitors many of whom return year after year and are known to the locals. The Tourist Office serves to provide ample information on all the local places of interest. Visits to historical sites, mountain villages and beautiful walks to enjoy. The Mediterranean sea is is just over an hour's drive and local lakes serve to swim or fish.
Getting around
From the house, the village is an easy short 3 minute walk. There are many other local walks either along the river Aude or climbing gently through nearby woodland to softer slopes on surrounding hills. Local 1€ fare buses reach nearby towns and villages or all the way to Carcassonne or Perpignan.
