It is only a 10 minute ride from the larger resort of Estepona and 20 minutes to the millionaires playground of Puerto Banus. The Blue Flag sandy beach is clean, well maintained and perfect for families including those with very young children. At the western end of the Costa del Sol is Puerto de la Duquesa, a beautiful marina nestled between 2 blue flag beaches Just 1 KM from San Luis de Sabinillas. Although much quieter and more family oriented than the nearby Puerto Banus and Sotogrande, there is still ample nightlife and local attractions to keep you busy.

The attractive promenades encircling the port offer a variety of restaurants, intimate bars and cafes in which to while away the days. The vast choice of eating and drinking options include French, Italian, Chinese, Indian, Thai and, of course, Spanish with its fresh, local fish. Numerous services and grocers are also at hand.

Daily services operate from Most UK Airports including London Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton, Bristol, East Midlands, Liverpool, Luton, Stansted and Newcastle to Malaga or Gibraltar.

Easy Jet, Ryan Air and British Airways run frequent flights to Malaga airport and some even to Gibraltar. Other low cost airlines from the UK include Jet2, Thomson Fly, BMI Baby or Charter with My Travel, Thomas Cook, First Choice and Monarch.

Discount car rates from Europecar are available with some airlines.

Drive time from Gibraltar is about 25mins and Malaga is about 50mins. From Malaga, follow Cadiz / Algeciras along the coast using the motorway A7 or the new AP7 (Autopista). From Gibraltar is using the same roads towards Estapona / Marbella.
