Small private room perfect for staying away from the city but no missing all the beautiful places in Guatemala, close to Antigua (1 hour), Tecpan (20 mins), lake Atitlan (45 mins) Xela(1 hour), Chichicastenando the Market (45 mins) Perfect for people with low budget but want to be in a nice place, I highly recommend for long time staying in Guatemala, since its a quite town, super safe and you still can go around and see the beauty of Guatemala.

Interaction with guests: You will have your own private room, you might share the house with my dad who is the one that lives at the property he is a quite person and super friendly so you wont hace any issues. The restroom will be share with him. In the case you need anything he will be there for you. sometimes he is out of town so you might have the house for yourself.

Spacious room with great views of two volcanoes!
The host family were very friendly which made staying there a pleasure. Delicious Guatemalan coffee was served each morning and the guest is welcomed to use the kitchen and cook their own meals. The house pet dog, Loba,was delightful and friendly. I enjoyed my stay a lot, especially the trips I made with the host and his father to several interesting locations: the capital, Iximche and Antigua.

Home is located in Santa Cruz Balanyá,Chimaltenango,Guatemala. Its a super safe town in Guatemala, mainly mayan people live there, its an agriculture town so most people do farming. You will be able to walk around feeling complete secure. you can wonder around in town as longest you respect everyone you wont have any issues, most people you might see will always salude you.
Getting around
I recommend if you are traveling a car, since mainly in Guatemala in general its better to have a car. however you can still use our chicken buses to get any place around. chicken buses are anytime from 4 am to 8 pm so you wont have any issues going places as longest you know where you going.
