Arung Hayat Resort & Sea Adventures WELCOME Dive with us! Arung Hayat scuba is located in Mabul Island 45 minutes boat rides from Semporna jetty. We are a local dive center and the pioneer for backpackers in Mabul Island. To get here means you have to reach Semporna first either by bus or by plane to Tawau airport. TRAVELING TO ARUNG HAYAT Travel by bus from Kota Kinabalu depart to Semporna daily at 7.30pm while from Sandakan depart at 2.00pm. Many flight options can be chosen from Kuala Lumpur, Kota Kinabalu or Sandakan by using Malaysia Airline or AirAsia and your destination is Tawau Airport. From Tawau airport you can take a taxi or bus to reach Semporna town (rate: MYR100-120 for 1 way charter) and using boat to reach Mabul Island (rate: MYR122-130 for 2 ways/pax) . Very nice place,,amazing sunset,,,nice scuba diving with SCUBA BUDDY,,Funny french instructor,,Phil.

I was there with my wife and my 2 childrens,,,,we dive with the shop of the resort Scuba buddy,,,mister Philippe,,,,the food was great,,,we have amazing sunset there,,,the room are very clean,,,,you can swim directly from the resort!,,,,very good souvenir.....

We booked 4 nights by booking.com. We sent 2 emails before to go to arrange the boat trip. Never answer. Thanks to a guy who try to contact the manager for us we found a boat to go there. This guy told us that we...More

Live like a locals with Arung Hayat Homestay!! Located just above the sea water, our guesthouse provide clean, nice and comfortable place for you to stay. The beautiful scenery of pulau mabul with its clear blue sea water will surely amaze you.Since its early years as a guesthouse, Arung Hayat has undergone major renovations and improvement. It begins with a single house with 5 rooms but as our guest increased we extended into 10 rooms but over the years our guest keep knocking at our door hence we decided to built more rooms along house side by side and the earlier 10 rooms were instead converted into a dining room giving more space to relax where meals are served 3 times a day with unlimited hot drinks.
