I rented this apartment for myself and my family for a two-week stay on the beautiful West Coast of the island. The property has two other apartments, which I also rented for other members of my family, so we could all stay together. The apartments are all spotless and clean, modern and updated and well maintained. They were well stocked with everything we needed, and more, for our stay and fresh linen and towels were always provided. The property is just as advertised, and even better when we got there, than as shown in photos. It is 3 minutes walk to everything, including beaches, and the Beach House is an added bonus, as we used the pool and swam in the lovely nearby beach almost everyday. Lavern, the owner, is a fantastic host. She greeted us upon arrival, showed us around the area and pointed out all the places of interests. She was always available to us during our stay and recommended lots of great places to eat and activities; nothing was ever too much trouble. She made sure...

About the neighbourhood
The Sunset Crest area provides an unbeatable location, since amenities and beaches are all within walking distance, and the area is highly favorable for many visitors to the island. The neighborhood is residential, quiet and peaceful and provides the perfect haven for rest and relaxation but is also great for guests who are looking forward to activities and exploration. It is safe for walking around and most guests are repeat visitors who often refer to the island as their 'second home'. There are shops, restaurants, banks, shopping centres, cafes, ice-cream and pastry shops, police station, medical centre, pristine beaches, and most recently, the ‘Limegrove Lifestyle Centre’ which provides several options from which to choose when it comes
Getting around
It is not necessary to rent a vehicle to get around the Sunset Crest area, as the amenities are within walking distance. The public and private 'reggae buses' pass along the main road surrounding the area and the fare is only BDS $2. However, If you wish to rent a vehicle to explore the island, I would be more than happy to refer you to a rental company which offers competitive rates. It is worthy to note that Barbadians are generally very friendly, accustomed to visitors and are helpful in providing directions and useful suggestions. Should you require a taxi, there is a Taxi Stand five minutes from the property. I can also refer you to a taxi service which we frequently use for our guests transportation needs.

The property is located on the West Coast of the island and is approximately 30 minutes drive from the airport.
