Villa
Villa Pally is a property that has been handed down for three generations now and over time it has undergone renovations and additions that have not in any way altered its origin, maintaining the materials, mainly stone, and the typical colors of the territory. The villa is surrounded by a vast garden completely fenced, composed of lawn, flower beds and trees. A short staircase, which crosses the garden, leads to the swimming pool, situated in a panoramic position with a breathtaking view of the Marche hills. The swimming pool, equipped with sunbeds and deckchairs, has paved areas, shaded by umbrellas, and furnished with sofas, table and chairs, to relax comfortably in the open air. A large porch, attached to the house, equipped with tables and chairs, is ideal for outdoor dining. A large porch, attached to the house, equipped with tables and chairs, is ideal for outdoor dining. Nearby, in the garden, there is a barbecue area. The property is accessed via an avenue, closed by an automatic gate. Ample parking available. Villa Pally is located on a hill near the ancient village of San Martino dei Muri, in the municipality of Fossombrone, at the limits of the Furlo Nature Reserve, in the province of Pesaro, in the northern part of the Marche region. The villa is surrounded by nature, situated in a very quiet and private position, surrounded by fields and woods, isolated houses and small villages. From here you can easily reach Fossombrone, a pretty town, which stands on the ruins of the ancient Roman city of "Forum Sempronii", along the route of the Via Flaminia that leads to Rome. On the way from Villa Pally to Fossombrone, crossing the bridge over the Metauro river, a stop is required to admire the "Marmitte dei Giganti", morfosculptures produced over the centuries by river erosion. A few kilometers away you will also find: Urbino, known for its Palazzo Ducale, an absolute masterpiece of Renaissance art and now home to the prestigious Galleria Nazionale delle Marche; Pergola, a small city of art characterized by a historic center rich in medieval and religious architectural features; the Gola del Furlo, a nature reserve that offers the visitor a unique spectacle both for its historical aspect and for its botanical, faunistic and geological features. In this protected area there are numerous paths for hiking or mountain biking; Acqualagna, known for its truffle trade, which can be tasted in the numerous restaurants present. The Adriatic coast is about 25 km from Fossombrone. The nearest seaside resort is Fano which has two coasts, one sandy in the north and one gravelly in the south. The city of Fano, rich in Roman monuments, such as the Arch of Augustus and the Temple of Fortune, is certainly worth a visit. Senigallia, a little further south, is rich in numerous historical testimonies: the Rocca Roveresca, the Palazzo del Duca, the Portici Ercolani, as well as being famous for its "velvet beach" 14 km long and characterized by the Rotonda a Mare. It is rich in bathing establishments, restaurants and clubs and has a lively nightlife. Finally, this area of the Marche region is renowned for its food and wine and typical local products including bread bruschetta with tomatoes and extra virgin olive oil, homemade pasta, such as tagliatelle, passatelli or gnocchi, served with ragù of meat or truffle, baked or grilled meats (lamb, rabbit, goose or game), grows them or tortillas with salami, pecorino cheese and herbs, honey and accompany the meal with wines, including Bianchello del Metauro and the Colli Pesaresi Rosso / Rosato Sangiovese, The Passito Wine and the Wine of Visciole.More
