Margaret’s Cottage is a detached stone built property with a view of the sea and the Gower peninsula in the distance. It has a private garden and patio – and for cooler weather, a log fire and a comfortable sitting room.
The cottage is well equipped - with log fire, bbq, central heating, washer/dryer, roll top bath & walk in shower, fridge freezer, games (eg monopoly, jigsaws, cards ...), selection of books and DVDs, satellite TV (sky), shaver point, heated towel rail, TV and DVD player, washer dryer & free Wi-Fi.

Smoking allowed only outside
One well behaved dog is welcome, but owners are responsible for ensuring they are safe within the garden, as there are other dogs in neighbouring properties and numerous cats.

The surrounding Carmarthenshire countryside has plenty of opportunities for visiting castles, gardens, wildlife centres and some excellent restaurants.
Nearby amenities include: Pembrey Country Park and Cefn Sidan - a Blue Flag beach with 8 mile stretch of sand; the Wales Coast Path and Celtic Trail West for walkers or cyclists; National Wetland Centre Wales for birdwatchers; Parc y Scarlets rugby stadium; Ffos Las racecourse, Pembrey Motor Racing circuit and 3 golf courses, including the Machynys Golf club & spa.
Getting around
There are local walks from the cottage which is just off the St Illtydd path. The cottage is 5 minutes drive or 15 minutes walk to the harbour and shops of Burry Port. It is within easy access of the Wales Coastal Path and the National cycleways, and for those who want to travel by train, Burry Port Station connects through to Swansea and Cardiff and to Carmarthen and Tenby to the West.
