Holiday Rental House

Newly renovated 4 bed single storey house, close to beach and shops, off street parking and private garden, a perfect well equipped spacious holiday home. Elie has 9 and 18 hole golf courses, tennis club, sailing club and 3 fantastic beaches. Close to St Andrews and about an hour from Edinburgh. Surrounded by its private garden yet bang in the centre of Elie (opposite the deli) once you have stayed here you will not want to stay anywhere else. Elie is simply the best beach and golf village in Scotland.

Interaction with guests: As I don't live nearby, I tend to interact with guest by email and telephone. I respond fast so any problems get resolved immediately. My in-laws live opposite and are on hand for most situations, and I have a team of helpers! I am lucky!

Lovely comfortable house

Lovely comfortable house for our weeks holiday. Central in the village but with great parking and space for the children to play in the secure grounds. The house had everything we needed, all rooms very comfortable. Will hopefully be back again soon!

Lovely holiday

A well situated and well laid out house,perfect for our holiday,with 2 couples and 3 children. Elie is a lovely place to visit and will definitely return.

Great property in a great location!

We had a mixture of young and old in the house and it served us all very well. Very relaxing with a great location. Extremely convenient for the deli directly across the street, the beach and the Ship Inn are just a short walk away. If you know Elie well you will also know that the chip van stops 10 yards from the garden gate three times a week in the summer.

Spacious comfortable house

This is a brilliantly situated house in Elie, directly opposite the wonderful Deli. Very private behind high walls with a lovely little garden. The accommodation is spacious, especially the living room. The kitchen has everything you could need. A very comfortable stay.

Fantastic

We stayed here for our Christmas weekend away. Beautiful place lovely house which is well stocked very clean with plenty of room. Elie was perfect great walks, shops and food. Communication with owner was excellent. We will definitely visit again.

Home from home

Spent a lovely weekend in Wayside with friends. It is a very comfortable and spacious house with everything you might need away from home. In fact it feels like a home from home. It is only a few minutes from the beach and is very handy for walks along the Fife Costal Path. It is also a great base for exploring the beautiful Kingdom of Fife.

Great family holiday house.

Lovely spacious house with an enclosed garden making it very child friendly. Although on the main street there is little noise from passing traffic. It is situated close to the beach and peaceful coastal walks. This is our third time going to Wayside and we intend to return.

Building Family Memories

With three kids under 6 we wanted a family holiday in Scotland - so again we chose to come back to wayside for a second time. The house is spacious, fully stocked, comfortable and quiet. Lovely garden and minutes form the beach and its on the high street. Fife has lots to offer for the kids -this time we climbed West Lomond, went to Craigtoun Country Park, St Andrews and Edinburgh Zoo! They loved it so much they didn't want to leave - one was in tears! We would love to come back soon.

We all felt as if we were at home, lovely place set in a surrounding garden in the ideal place.

A very well equipped bungalow set in a spacious plot right in the middle of Elie. No shortage of room for our party of four golfers & ideally located for our chosen courses. Walking distance to several nice pubs with good food. You could even park your car in one of the two garages!

The East Neuk of Fife is famous for it's golden sandy beaches, it's fabulous golf courses, it's proximity to St Andrews and Edinburgh, and the beautiful fishing villages of Anstruther, Pittenweem, Crail and St. Monans. A boat trip to May Island at puffin time is one of the wonders of the world, and the local fishing makes for some wonderful eateries.
