Designed by architect Brian MacKay-Lyons and recipient of the Lieutenant Governor's Award of Merit in 1992; this unique cottage was inspired by Nova Scotia's Maritime tradition. The modern design concept is softened by the use of natural materials and lots of windows. An arched roof that is reminiscent of the hull of a boat covers the open concept design that encompasses the view through floor-to-ceiling glass doors. The living room features a freestanding wood fireplace and opens to a spacious covered deck. There are two bedrooms. Downstairs, the Master Bedroom has a queen size bed and a spectacular view of the ocean through a wall of windows. Upstairs is an open loft with two single beds and a sliding patio door that opens on to a small balcony. Absolute Heaven

Bay Bluff cottage is beyond words. The views were breath taking. Lots to do for day trips to the local ocean side towns with charming shops. The people were so friendly. We ate lobster everyday! I will definitely return.
