This room is south facing and offers spectacular views of the mountains and surrounding forested hillsides. The forests are full of wildlife and from time to time,we have seen deer, hare and boar in the garden. Outside there is an area of private garden with a table and chairs and a small barbecue. The Gite is situated next to the pond with fish and dragon flies. In spring we often have a pair of wild Mallard ducks nesting. The whole garden has seclusion and privacy and ideal for any naturists that may wish to stay. There is also an area for guest parking in front of the Gite. About the neighbourhood
We are almost half-way across the Pyrenees and 20Km north of the mountains. By main roads, 2 hours from the Atlantic, 4 hours from the Mediterranean and an hour from Spain. We are in the middle of beautiful countryside, fields, forests, lakes, rivers and reservoirs. It is an ideal area for walking, running or cycling, road or mountain biking. The roads are also wonderful for motorbiking. We have wildlife. Birds of pray, deer, boar, foxes and hare. The reservoirs are an ideal place for bird watching particularly in spring and autumn as the migrating birds rest for a while. The mountains, Walking and hiking. The Tour de France. Ride the stages. Also mountain climbing, white water rafting, kayaking, hang gliding. Winter sports. .
Getting around

Fetes and festivals throughout the summer. But if you just want to chill out then there are several Spas and Well-being centres.
