This stone-built cottage near Troutbeck Bridge in the Lake District National Park sleeps two people in one bedroom.Apple Tree Cottage is a traditional, stone-built, semi-detached cottage situated one mile from Troutbeck Bridge, and close to Lake Windermere and the towns of Ambleside and Windermere. This cottage sleeps two people in a double bedroom. The cottage also has a shower room, and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside there is off-road parking for one car, private patios and shared use of lawned areas. Apple Tree Cottage is an ideal romantic base for walks, watersports and visiting the many attractions that can be found in the area. Amenities: Gas central heating. Town: The small village of Troutbeck Bridge is situated between Windermere and Ambleside in the Lake District National Park. The village offers a leisure centre and a thriving and very popular local pub, serving real ales and fine food, plus Ambleside and Windermere offer shops, pubs and cafes. Set off the main road down a shared lane-cum-driveway the cottage is part of a cluster of similar characterful holiday accommodation on the property. The lounge has a double aspect so nice and light. It was always quiet, and the overnight heating meant it was...More
