Welcome to my home! This is a comfortable 2-bedroom early Edwardian mid-terrace cottage in a lovely village setting. If you don’t want the confinement and blandness of the average hotel room then this accommodation could be perfect for you. High ceilings and wooden floors throughout contribute to the period feel of the property and artistic touches make it feel homely.

Please note this property is not suitable for toddlers/young children or the infirm as the staircase is steep and open on one side.

The house has been renovated throughout, with the kitchen fully equipped for self-catering with new energy-efficient fridge freezer, fan oven and gas hob with wok burner. Great location close to Hampton station with links to Kingston and London. Enjoyed walks through Bushy Park to Hampton Court and along the River Thames to Kingston. Host very welcoming - lovely flowers and house clean and well presented.

We enjoyed our stay in the lovely cottage. It was comfortable, and perfect to visit London. 1 minute walk to the rail station, and within 4o minutes the train takes you to the center of London (Waterloo station) Close to the cottage you'll find some...More

We have spend 5 nights in this nice and comfortable cottage. We enjoyed it very much to stay in a quiet neighbourhood while still being a little more than an half a hour distance from the center of London.

About the neighbourhood
Hampton feels like a real community: people talk to each other. This place gives you a flavour of how London once was - as one of a collection of distinct villages that gradually joined to become the metropolis that is London. Hampton and Hampton Hill have retained a local feel, with independent shops and restaurants, not yet subsumed by the corporate chains that render one high street indistinguishable from another.

Aside from easy access to central London (40 minutes direct train service), Hampton also benefits from lovely open spaces, with Bushy Park (the 2nd largest of London's royal parks) and Hampton Court Park on your doorstep.

It's a great spot for cyclists and it's possible to cycle from here to Putney and Roehampton via the banks of the River Thames and Bushy...

The train station (Shepperton line) and bus stops couldn't be more convenient: just a 1-minute walk away. It takes 40 minutes to Waterloo (direct by train). We are served by the 216 bus route and by a 24hr bus route (111) between Heathrow (via the Piccadilly Line at Hounslow East) and Kingston (where it intersects with other night bus routes to and from other parts of London).

For those with cars, there is free on-street parking and the house is ideally situated for access to the M3 (5 mins), the M25 (15 mins), Heathrow (25-45 mins) and the A316 (5 mins) to central London.
