Perfect holiday accommodation
We booked The Apartment for 3 nights and immediately wished we could stay longer. It is situated in a quiet , upmarket area and has lovely views from the main rooms. There is off-street parking although the road was so quiet we would have been happy to park on it anyway. The garden is fabulous and has lovely sitting areas and views. Each room is tastefully and luxuriously furnished , the bed is very comfortable and the wi-fi is the best we have had in any holiday accommodation. The newly fitted kitchen is very stylish and has everything you could wish for. A lot of thought has gone into making guests comfortable, and it shows. The owners could not have been more friendly and welcoming. We recommend The Apartment without reservation.

Beautifully presented apartment - a home from home.
We discovered this apartment three years ago and have stayed for a week each year since. Located in a leafy and very quiet residential area yet only 5 minutes from the motorway it provides comfortable and well equipped accommodation. The apartment overlooks a very well tended garden with a view across the valley to the hills. Highly recommended.

OUTSTANDING APARTMENT, PERFECT LOCATION!
The Apartment location is ideally situated for easy access to both Glasgow and Edinburgh and the North of Scotland. The Apartment is ideal; it is extremely comfortable and spacious with all the amenities such as WiFi, TV, and DVD. The level of cleanliness is excellent. The eat in kitchen is fully equipped with a large refrigerator which can be stocked up from the nearby supermarkets. The bathroom is spacious and has a good, powerful shower. The bedroom is very spacious with plenty of wardrobe space and the bed is very comfortable. The view from both the living room and bedroom is spectacular. The hosts, Judith and Adrian, have put together great information about the local area which is very helpful for first time visitors to the area. Overall, we would highly recommend The Apartment and would not hesitate to stay there again.

Excellent in every respect
We chose the Apartment for its location and quality and were not disappointed. Quick and easy to find from the M80; yet quiet and peaceful with a beautiful view, and close to woodland and the canal for lovely walks. The interior is very spacious and the décor and equipment is of the highest standard. We were there at the end of October and it was warm and cosy and the garden was still delightful being full of autumn colours (and a pumpkin on Halloween which Judith had carved and placed in the garden for us complete with candles and matches!) We particularly appreciated the option of the sofa bed as we had a friend who happened to be in Scotland at the time and she was able to stay one night with us for a small additional payment. The kitchen which is spotless and beautifully fitted is well equipped for cooking (and there’s an instruction manual for all the equipment) but if you are looking for a nice friendly place nearby for a drink, a meal or just a coffee and cake, we’d recommend the Boat House at Auchinstarry Marina which is a short drive away or a pleasant walk of about 45 minutes from the Apartment under the railway bridge and along the canal. Overall would highly recommend the Apartment.

Highly recommend that you stay here!
Hosts very helpful and welcoming. Apartment brilliant, kitchen beautiful all appliances easy to operate (helpful folder with instructions for every appliance provided) Bathroom also beautiful. Sitting room with tv, dvd and wifi. Bedroom spacious and very comfortable bed, plenty of wardrobe space. Excellent folder with information on local shops, eateries and things to do and see in the area. Very peaceful location and yet within easy reach of Glasgow/Edinburgh and surrounding area. Gardens a delight. We loved watching the squirrels play! Would certainly recommend this apartment and will certainly use again.

Outstanding apartment rental
Having stayed in many apartments, cottages and villas in both the UK and Europe this is certainly in the top 3. The location is brilliant for all venues in the central Scottish belt. The garden is an idyllic setting and great credit must go to both Adrian and Judith for its delightful design and attractive planting. The apartment is spacious and attractively furnished, ideal for a couple or older children in a family setting. Our only disappointment was the distinct lack of acceptable pubs within a 3 miles radius !!!! For those wanting to prepare their own meals the kitchen has modern appliances and on a great evening(as we experienced in our 3 night stay) the gardens are the perfect antidote for an active day and a wonderful relaxing atmosphere to experience with beautiful rural settings in the background. I would heartily recommend this apartment and look forward to enjoying our next stay.

Perfect
I stayed here twice whilst working in Glasgow. The apartment was perfect. Spotlessly clean, fantastic kitchen area, lounge and bedroom. WiFi was fast and reliable. Adrian and Judith were excellent hosts advising me on nearby restaurants and shopping facilities. Overall I cannot fault it. John B

Exceptionally good apartment between Glasgow & Edinburgh
As you have seen from my history I have reviewed many hotels and holiday lettings and this apartment really WOWED me. We booked for 2 weeks and then extended for a few more days as we loved it. It is spacious, very comfortable, had everything provided, and some luxury extras, that we enjoyed. The cleanliness was impeccable including the kitchen cooking equipment, crockery and cutlery. I believe that it is the cleanest place we have ever stayed in, which was a joy. There were lots of windows and 2 sets of French doors which all opened so fresh air and lots of natural light. We loved sitting in the living room looking out the French doors over the pretty garden to the Scottish hills in the distance. In the late afternoon the sun would steam in through the doors into the living room. There is also a nice sitting area in the garden when you can enjoy the view. It had all the equipment that we needed like large refrigerator, oven and separate grill, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher, washer and separate dryer, large flat screen TV, heating, a good shower, heated towel rail, spacious bathroom and large bedroom including reading chairs, good WiFi connection, off street parking, good security and more. A variety of books and board games are also supplied and a very impressive instruction manual for items in the house. We loved the location and used it to visit Glasgow, Edinburgh, Lock Lomond and the Scottish Highlands. The apartment is just off the main road that links Glasgow and Edinburgh. There were 2 large supermarkets (ASDA & Tesco) about 4kms away. There are some great walks in the area and a golf course nearby. The owners were friendly, helpful and very considerate in giving us peace, quiet and privacy. I very much recommend this apartment and could not fault anything. We were sad to leave. If you do stay there I can also recommend a days drive to the Scottish Highlands through the following towns, it was very picturesque. We drove to the village of Balloch at the southern end of Lock Lomond then followed the lock along the western edge to the historical town of , Luss, we continued north through the villages of Tarbet, Inveruglas and to Ardlui situated at the top of the lock. We continued north and about 17km up the road we turned off the road to visit the Falls of Falloch which is a waterfall amongst beautiful green leafy trees, a short walk from the carpark. We continued onto the village of Crianlarich then headed west to the village of Stronmilchan which is situated on Loch Awe. Still heading west, beside a river along a valley, we passed thought the villages of Taynuilt and Connel before arriving at the seaside town of Oban. Oban is situated in a large bay and is protected by an island about 1km off the shore. There are a number of islands off the coast in this area of Scotland. Oban is an old town and there were a number of large old homes along the coastline. We took a different route back to our apartment passing through the towns of Inverary and Arrochar. We drove 360km for 8 hours and very much enjoyed the drive.

Well appointed apartment in quiet yet convenient location
We have stayed in a number of apartments around Glasgow all ok to good but this one was the best of all. The apartment is spacious, beautifully presented and very well equipped. Step out through the patio doors to a marvelous garden with seating areas and a panoramic view to the hills in the distance. It is located less than 2 miles from the M80 in a very quiet tree lined residential location. The golf course is nearby and there are lots of signposted walks - one of which takes you to the local train station. Highly recommended for a quiet comfortable holiday base. We will certainly return.
