Condo # 208, was nicely decorated, with many comforts from home. Communication with the property managers, Fenwick Vacation Rentals, was excellent. They accommodated an earlier check-in, which was greatly appreciated. Parking was great and it was really nice to have the park pass available for use.
We gave this unit 3 stars because the bed sheets, duvet and mattress cover looked dirty. Overall cleanliness and sleeping comfort are very important when renting. We were lucky the unit had a washer and dryer.
The sheets no longer looked white, had pelts and a few small stains. There was a fresh blood stain on the duvet cover. I began removing the cover but saw the duvet had large caramel spots on it, so we did not use it. Because there were several other sheet sets available, I washed two sets of sheets and thin bedspreads for the next 3.5 hours. I vacuumed the mattress cover because there was no spare. Looking under the bed the floor closest to the window was full of dust, only the floor near the closet, was vacuumed. The next day, I communicated with Fenwick about the bed issue and promptly got a new duvet and brand new cover.
The kitchen could use a dish rack so the tea towels do not have to be used, a pump soap was kindly provided at my request. The bathroom shower could use some minor repair. The shower head leaks and cannot be moved, so you are standing along the corner wall when showering. The hand towel rack at the sink is also about to break.
Overall, if some small repairs, purchase of new bed linen, and better turnaround cleaning, this would be a 5 star unit.
