The Inverness and surrounding area has some of world's best natural, unspoiled scenery. There are beautiful beaches along the coastline along with some great hiking trails with cliffside ocean vistas. Cabot Cliffs which is five minutes away from the chalet was named Golf Digest's Best cours of the year for 2015 and it debuted at #19 on its list of the World's 100 Greatest Golf Courses. Walking/biking trails are at your doorstep, the Celtic Shores Coastal Trails stretches from one end of the county to the other. Take a tour/drive around the world renowned Cabot Trail which will have you in awe at the breath-taking scenery. The Celtic culture abounds in the area and ceilidhs (parties) pop up with talented, local musicians participating
Getting around
We can recommend a local, luxury van service for your convenience. Keltic Cruisers. They are available to take you from the airport, to the Cliffs or where ever you may want to go! The Red Shoe pub is a most popular place to visit and enjoy some local seafood and along with the Celtic talent which abounds on the island.
