Fantastic location, fully equipped and very clean. It was perfect for our stay. We would book again in a heartbeat

I have stayed in this property a number of times and it was well equipped and I enjoyed my stay. However, this last stay I found the cottage had minimal equipment. 3 tea spoons, 2 saucepans, a frying pan that had seen better days. No wooden spoons. One carving knife that wouldn't cut its way through soft butter. This property is for 4 people. No way could a dinner be adequately cooked with this minium of equipment. The fan oven also takes an absolute age to cook anything. The TV is a work in progress. Everytime it's turned off it has to be reset by switching the 'you view' box on and off. Otherwise it just shows a no or weak aerial connection message. I found this out after not getting any picture or signal when we first arrived. I also do not appreciate having the smell of weed wafting in through the open windows day and night. But, I understand that this is beyond the control of the cottage owner. But I would not stay here again.

Very clean and perfect as a base for family of four. Kids loved the bunk beds! Had fantastic weather and was a great location for visiting nearby family and beaches at shaldon Teignmouth, Broadsands and Torquay and only a few mins walk from Kent’s Cavern. Also joyed the patisserie round the corner as well 😊

This is a second time I've stayed in this lovely cosy cottage. It was lovely and clean, with everything you could ask for. Local shops near by, lovely friendly restaurants. Lovely walks, and beaches. Cant wait to go back. Had a wonderful time. See you soon! Thank you for a lovely break. Kim

We stayed here for a mini weekend break. The cottage was very clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable and the duvet was a nice thick one. The WiFi was strong. There were some dvds that you could watch or some books you could read. The shower was powerful and nice and hot. The central heating worked a dream. There was a nice little welcome gift which was very much appreciated after a day at work then travelling down. The cottage is located 6 minutes in the car away from Babbacombe model village and a 15 minute drive away from Paignton. The seafront in torquay is definitely worth a walk along. Can't wait to book and stay again.

We had stayed there for a week Lovely house/cottage very clean and Morden everything you need Home from home. Location very good for Torquay harbour and all other tourist attraction the cottage is situated close to post office, restaurant,pharmacy. The Lovely welcome basket was great thanks James Would definately recommend and also stay again.

We've stayed at various holiday lets within the wellswood area over the years and this is by far the best for value,location and comfort. We had a lovely stay. The cottage has everything you need and was perfect for us. Parking was never an issue and no problem unloading and loading. Lovely Neighbours even came out to say goodbye when we left. It's so good we've already booked for next year!!

We stayed here for 4 nights beautiful cottage very clean. Loved the little extras that were left for us. Beds really comfy . Really peaceful location. Every thing you need is on the doorstep lots of things to do and only a short drive away. We had heard really good things about the Kent's pub but unfortunately we couldn't get booked in for food. We definitely stay here again it really is a little gem 💎

Our first holiday without children for 19 years. This is our 3rd visit to ilsham mews, Perfect place to stay, very clean with everything you need. Lovely comfy bed and fantastic shower, plenty of good quality towels. The welcome pack was lovely, no need to worry about getting milk and butter. We ate out most of the time, used The Kents at the end of the Rd, pre booked a table as they requested. Shoped for local cheese at Mr & Mrs Jones. Used the wonderfull green space round the corner and walked to Meadfoot beach.

Very pleasant, clean and quiet property, close to shops, restaurants and a very good pub The Kent’s.
