The bedrooms both have en-suite facilities and offer a double room with king size bed and the other bedroom has twin beds or a superking bed as an option. The large open plan kitchen/diner and lounge area has a 50' smart TV and sound bar. the Kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher washing machine and fridge freezer with double oven and microwave. There is a terrace area outside with views over parkland. It has seating for relaxing and eating outside etc. The local Co Op is only 2 minutes by car and 10 minutes walk away. It now operates as self catering to the same high standards. I try to welcome guests on arrival, but if I'm not here I will catch up later. Access to both the Villa and The Apartment is by key from the relevant key box. Before your stay I will send you the code and an information sheet with everything you need to help you settle in easily and find the beach and shops etc. I am available by phone to answer any questions or if you should have any concerns. My guests are important to me and I try to provide a comfortable relaxing home from home experience.

Fabulous!
Lovely clean spacious property. Immaculate and extremely well furnished with excellent facilities. Host (Sandra) welcoming, lovely touch of leaving milk, tea, coffee and biscuits. Perfect location, close walking distance to all local attractions and shops. We had a great time and hope to come back soon. 😊

Fantastic Apartment in Torquay
A fantastic apartment with a modern and spacious kitchen/lounge area in a quiet area of Torquay. Perfect for anyone as a base to explore the area or to access Torquay itself as it is a pleasant walk through the abbey park gardens and sea front to the town centre. Enjoyed our stay here immensely, it was perfect for us.

Fantastic!
Avenue Park apartment was situated at the back of Avenue Park on Falkland Road. It was in an ideal position, only a few minutes walk to the sea front at Torbay. There was a small area to park outside the door, in the driveway. The apartment was light and airy, clean and covid secure. The kitchen was fully equipped for self catering and there were supermarkets close by. There were also plenty of restaurants and takeaways close by. There was a small patio area which was in the sun most of the day. Our hostess was very helpful, and was very knowledgable about the area. A welcome pack was left for our arrival along with dog bowls and bedding. The bedrooms were comfortable and the en-suites clean and modern. We had a wonderful week away and would recommend both the location and the apartment.

another great stay
our second stay at this stunning apartment everything you could possibly need for a perfect stay the apartment is ideally situated for all amenities it as its own car parking space off the road and a pleasant outside seating area on arrival the apartment was found to be beautifully cleaned and a small welcome pack was left no problem with the internet connection a large television with netflix and freeview in the lounge both ensuite bedrooms had their own televisions our dog was made very welcome with dishes and bedding on arrival would highly recommend this apartment to anyone thinking of staying in torquay

Amazing location
Holiday for my daughter and myself. Amazing location. Train station about 5-10 min walk. The town and sea front 10 min walk. Apartment very light and spacious. Bedrooms both en suite and great size plus a small garden space to sit in. Granddaughter loved it. Sandra so welcoming and helpful. There was even a small jug of milk in fridge ready for a cup of tea on arrival. Thank you will book again.

Superb villa with excellent facilities
The villa was perfect for ourselves, our daughter, son-in-law, 2yr old granddaughter and Millie their dog.We found all the rooms spotless and beautifully furnished. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had all the equipment necessary for a self catering holiday. The position of the accommodation was ideal, being only a short walk through the Abbey gardens to the sea. The owner Sandra Walker was extremely friendly and welcoming. We booked directly with Sandra on her website which we feel was an advantage, as we received a more personal touch.

Excellent Accommodation
Fabulous location to base yourself in Torquay, just a short stroll to Torre Abbey, great for walking the dog in the morning. Apartment was excellent, it had everything you need and for the dog also. Sandra the owner was very welcoming. Had a fabulous holiday and will definitely go back.

FANTASTIC
Excellent apartment, light and spacious in top condition with everything you need to have a fantastic vacation. If you need or missing something Sandra (the owner) always will try to solve it for you. She had even orderly a pet bed and bowls for our dog when we arrived to the apartment. We´ll visit again!

Excellent accommodation
Sandra is an excellent hostess, her B & B is spotless, cooking beyond expectation and nothing is two much trouble for her and Paul. Paul was a brilliant waiter who was always smiling and had a joke with everyone. Would certainly visit again. Close to bus and train service. Thank you Sandra and Paul for making our stay so enjoyable.

About the neighbourhood
Avenue Park is situated in an ideal location, just away from the hustle but close enough to walk to it. We have several beaches to choose from all close by and many good food restaurants to suit all pockets and tastes. There is a wealth of things do do and see and places to visit. It can be relaxing and unwinding or exciting and challenging, its up to you! Children have lovely places to visit , Paignton Zoo, Living Coasts, Dinosaur World, Pennywell farm etc. I'm sure you will enjoy your time here whatever you choose to do, or just relax in my accommodation and take a break.
Getting around
It is so easy to get around the bay and area. Buses run regularly and take British Bus passes ( not Welsh - sorry ) Family tickets or weekly tickets are inexpensive and you can travel all over Torbay all day and evening. Walking is lovely as Avenue Park is ideally placed 5 mins to the beach and sea front. 10 mins from the Theatre and restuarants and a further 10 mins to the town and harbour. Nearby Paignton and Babbacombe etc offer variety and walking or buses are good ways to see them Brixham can be reached by ferry across the bay which takes about 35 mins and is a lovely way to travel and see the coastline,bus or car are options too. Dartmouth is 25 mins away by car and is a pretty harbour town famous for its Naval history and college.

How to get there
Travelling to Torquay is easier by car now we have the bypass. Most travellers come along this into the bay and I am situated near the beach so follow signs for the sea front. I am on Avenue Road just before Torre Abbey and parking is free on all the roads around me (apart from yellow lines). I have a small car park at the rear too. Villa guests often park on the road opposite the Villa as its easy to unload from there etc. The Apartment is at the back of the building off Falkland Road, and parking outside the door is ideal, or on the road free if preferred. From the M5 follow signs for Torquay, follow signs for sea front and you will drive down Avenue Road until you see my sign high on the house on the left. The Apartment is off Faulkland road running parallel at the back of Avenue road. Exeter Airport is about 30 miles away but an easy drive of about 35 mins. Bristol airport takes about 1.5 hrs drive depending on traffic and is outside Bristol city. Trains come to Torquay and the station is a 10 minute walk away. The bus station is a quick taxi ride away and has regular coaches travelling countrywide and from Heathrow and Gatwick etc. Bike hire and car hire are available locally if you arrive by public transport. If you want to bring a bicycle by train then please make sure you book this in advance.
