**COVID-19: The accommodation will be deep cleaned and antibacterial spray used before your arrival** Situated in the Lower Warberries in a peaceful wooded location just 10 mins walk down hill to the town centre and picturesque harbour and seafront which offers ferry boats, restaurants, bars, clubs and promenades that are adjacent to award winning sandy beaches. Lovely coastal walks nearby link other smaller pretty beaches and coves - Ansteys Cove being one of my favourites [ it also has a lovely cafe ]. Torquay offers attractions for all ages. This small wing is attached to our main home and named 'The Wedge' because of its internal shape. Fully refitted last year, it offers simple but immaculate accommodation. Little Gem
Lovely little apartment which is part of a bigger property, but is completely self contained. Area was very quiet, Bed was very comfortable, kitchen area was well equipped and the furnishings were bright and welcoming. Decking area was a real bonus and there was a distant sea view. Within walking distance of the town centre and all Torquay amenities. Also a 5 minute drive to Babbacombe, which has several good bars and restaurants.

Extremely thoughtfully presented apartment
The Wedge is cosy but you'll find everything you need in this spotless holiday home. The friendly owner is very helpful. It's a short if hilly walk from the flat's quiet location to Torquay's town centre and beaches, and there are good eating places close by.

Perfect Peaceful and tranquil
The annexe is situated in a quiet residential area within walking distance of the attractions in Torquay. Lovely outdoor seating area on the terrace in a beautiful garden. The accommodation is spotlessly clean and ample for a couple. Very comfortable and well equipped. The host is very friendly and helpful and has a vast array of knowledge regarding the local area and amenities. Very highly recommended!!!!

Brilliant
A lovely quiet and cosy annex with sea views. Just a stroll from the Town Centre and sea front. Ample parking for a large large and in a lovely conservation. The bed was very cofortable and shower worked great. Its private pation garden in front was a lovely sun trap.

Well situated in peaceful surroundings and a comfortable place to stay. Walking distance from many top attractions. A perfect base to explore beautiful Torquay.

Great Flat, Lovely Peaceful Location
Small but perfectly formed with a lovely patio outside. An ideal base for our weekend break. Within walking distance of town and the seafront.

About the neighbourhood
' The Wedge' is situated in the Lower Warberries [ Hunsdon Road Conservation area ] - an area of large old villas in wooded grounds so far unspoilt by modern development. This is a Side Wing of an old villa. Easy parking within the driveway. There are several good restaurants within a ten minute walk, just down the road. The Princess theatre is 20 minutes on foot, or 5 mins by car. Ansteys Cove, Torquay is a delightful unspoilt beach about a 25 min stroll, or a 5 min drive. The South West coastal path is amazing and only 10 mins walk from the property.
Getting around
Most things are within a walkable distance. A car is usefull if you wish to travel out of town. However, the Railway Station has good links with Newton Abbot, Exeter and Tinmouth. South West Coastal path is within a few minutes walk - amazing high-up easterly walks to Babbacombe via Daddies Hole.

By car, bus, or train is possible. Torquay station is a 22 mins walk [ or 10 mins by taxi ]. We are approx 10 mins walk to the town centre. The nearest airport is Exeter. Nearest port is Plymouth. Southampton is the other big port.
