Very quiet and convenient for the town centre with excellent accommodation. However possibly not right for anyone less than able bodied - steepish staircase. A walking distance from the castle (grounds and building open to the public). Stourhead (NT) a car ride away. Restaurants within walking distance. Owner friendly. The best recommendation is that we have been there (I think) six times in the last 7 years.

Our host Tim was attentive to every need and made us feel welcome and secure immediately on arrival. The property is weel appointed with attention to detail and a warm, relaxing, quiet place to retire to after a day outing or simply a pleasant environment to spend the day in instead. We really enjoyed our stay in Sherborne at the coach house. The house is beautifully decorated, clean, quiet and cozy. The location couldn't be better, close to all of the shops and restaurants. We will definitely be back!!

The Coach House is extremely well located in Sherborne, within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, pubs and the beautiful Abbey. It is also very quiet and with on-site parking - a real bonus. The property was clean, very well furnished and with all facilities necessary for a relaxing holiday, including dishwasher and washing machine. We enjoyed one of the concert's during Sherborne Festival and also recommend visiting Sherborne New Caste and walking in the grounds. On a rainy day Clarks Shopping Village is not far away. On a good day Weymouth can be reached in about 50 minutes. Highly recommended.

Had a lovely week at the beautiful coach house Sherborne What a delightful little gem we found . The place is extremely warm ,cosy and has a fabulous energy Very peaceful place but a few minutes walk from Sherborne..

Accommodation was easy to find, literally a 5 minute walk to town centre and 30 second drive to exit roads to go exploring Dorset. Sherborne is a good base to go in all directions. Owners made us feel very welcome. All the facilities in the Coach House were just right for a very comfortable stay. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere to relax and undisturbed sleep, but still being in town.

Tastefully decorated and furnished in keeping with its Grade 2 listed status. Walking distance to Sherborne. Secure gated parking area. A cream tea on our arrival and a very generous bowl of fruit. Private and quiet accommodation. We stayed three nights to attend a nearby wedding and so pleased that we stayed here instead of a busy hotel. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Sherborne.

Could not recommend this place enough! We absolutely loved our stay here. Everything is on your door step and within walking distance. The Coach House is beautifully decorated and very clean. We booked last minute and were so glad that we did. Tim and Jo were very friendly and the scones, jam and cream are a lovely welcoming gesture. Highly recommended.
