About the neighbourhood
Ledbury is a lovely historic market town with small bespoke shops and alleyways. There are plenty of pubs, restaurants and cafes to visit. There are festivals and events timetabled throughout the year, particularly in the summer: music, poetry, gardens, food, cinema, beer, cider... Further afield there are lovely walks on the Malvern Hills and Symonds Yat. We are surrounded by farms which creates lovely views and can be very tranquil. You can buy locally produced fruit in the local shops and also there is an organic farm shop next door with local seasonal vegetables and eggs. Please be aware, however, that farms are busy places and, particularly at the various harvest times, can be noisy with activity from farm vehicles and machinery.
Getting around
Although we are only a mile and a half from the town centre, you may not feel like walking home at night. We have several friendly local taxi drivers who are happy to drop and pick up guests who want to have an evening out in Ledbury.
