The Hayloft is converted from part of a 17thC stone barn and has lofted ceilings and exposed stone walls. It is exceptionally clean and warm and bed linen is 100% cotton with duvets. The Hayloft has a king-size bed and a cot is available for babies up to 15kg in weight. A small sofa bed, located in the lounge, can sleep a third person.

The Hayloft is equipped with all expected modern kitchen appliances..

There is a garden area to enjoy with garden furniture, picnic tables and barbecues.

It’s very cosy and spacious little cottage.... we thoroughly enjoyed our stay even with the little one with us we made our own for a few days..... I would strongly recommend vistig to get away from all the town life and have a relaxing brake...More

Set in attractive countryside on the fringe of the Lake District National Park glimpses of the surrounding mountains and countryside spill into view through the old winding side streets.

The rivers Cocker and Derwent run through the town making attractive places to sit and take a break. Large enough to support a number of interesting and unique little shops as well as discreet supermarkets, Cockermouth remains relatively unchanged. How to get there

From Junction 40 on the M6 Motorway take the A66 to Keswick/Workington. After travelling for some 35/40 minutes you will come to a big roundabout on the outskirts of Cockermouth. You will see the Sheep & Wool Centre off the left of the roundabout and a Garage on the opposite side. Go straight across this roundabout and drive down the hill to another large roundabout and take second exit, the A595 to Carlisle. This road will take you across the River and up hill to another roundabout, go straight across (A595 to Carlisle). About two miles along this road you will see a sign on the left, which says Redmain, Blindcrake and Isel turn right. Drive down the hill and look for the second house on the left, which has the gravel driveway, and you will see the sign...
