The wooden paved living area is spacious and bright with light flowing through the large conservatory and its glass exterior wall. You´ll find a comfy corner sofa bedecked with bright cushions facing an impressive flat-screen TV. Switch on the fireplace and kick back to catch up on your favourite shows after a day of exploring the city. Bookworms can take some reading material off the shelves of the wooden bookcase and get lost in some fiction. There´s also the additional living area occupied by a conservatory which overlooks a plant-filled garden. If cooking is your thing, you’re going to love spending time in the stylish kitchen. Prepare some delicious meals at the kitchen bar with the help of an oven and ceramic hob. Store your groceries in the full-size fridge and don´t worry about washing up afterwards - there´s a dishwasher to do that for you. Walk up the ornate spiral staircase and you´ll find three bedrooms. The stunning master bedroom has a built-in wardrobe with full-length mirrors which, along with high ceilings, amplify the room beautifully. There´s a desk and two small alcoves either side of the bed which provide extra storage space. The other two bedrooms also have storage space in the form of a wardrobe or chest of drawers. All the beds are fitted with fresh luxury linens - what more do you need for a good night’s sleep? Freshen up in the large walk-in shower of the main bathroom which is decorated with beautiful deep red and stone coloured tiling. White fluffy towels and toiletries are provided! My property will be professionally cleaned before your stay. Access Guests will have access to the entire property during their stay Interaction Behind every great stay, there's a great company. Oh, have I also mentioned that they spread their wings to many other cities in the world? You're welcome! Neighborhood Kennington is one of inner London's best-kept secrets. It’s an enclave of brick houses and pretty squares containing some perfect examples of Georgian architecture. The most famous area is the idyllic Cleaver Square, where locals play boules (a French bowling game) in the summer with merriment. Kennington and nearby Elephant and Castle have also become destinations for foodies in London with a hugely diverse selection of restaurants and markets. The excellent Imperial War Museum and Cinema Museum are both nearby making this a good spot for culture vultures to learn about the history of conflict and motion pictures respectively. Kennington has a significant sporting history and is home to The Kia Oval, one of the homes of the England Cricket team and Surrey County Cricket Club. Up the road, Elephant and Castle has long had a reputation as a slightly downtrodden area, but after a £3 billion investment and regeneration project over 10 years, Elephant and Castle is rapidly becoming one of the most newly desirable areas in London. One example of the change in culture here is the success of the Artworks, a multi-function complex with yoga studios, vintage clothes stores and cafes; all signs of a prosperous and flourishing neighbourhood. For proper English pubs, you're in the right place. Swing by The Old Red Lion or the White Bear for classic pub grub and beers. As far as restaurants go, we recommend heading to the Frenchie Bistro which serves, delicious Gallic food. Alternatively, local foodies in the know head to the Italian-inspired Mercato Metropolitano, an indoor street market that is packed with everything from pizzas to gelato. As far as nightlife goes, Elephant and Castle is home to one of the most famous nightclubs in the world, the legendary Ministry of Sound where superstar DJs and well-known producers frequent the turntables.
