The spacious kitchen has a three oven Aga, American fridge freezer, separate electric hob and oven, Nespresso machine, dishwasher in addition to all the usual kitchen equipment - and enough crockery, glassware and cutlery for everyone.
We had a great stay at Cnewr over New Year. The farmhouse is lovely, much bigger than it looks on the photos and was ideal for 3 families. It was warm and cosy with 2 log burners in 2 of the 3 lounges, great kitchen which was really well equipped, super comfy beds, lots of lovely modern bathrooms. The pool table and football goals kept three boys very happy. We had a lovely walk down by the reservoir, horse riding at Cantref, trip to Brecon and a very interesting trip to the mining museum which had been recommended. We'll be back!

A real find!
Dixon/Dalby families had a great week at Cnewr Farm . A big family group with an age range from 20 to 90 shared this spacious and comfortable , characterful house .
ALL the rooms were just lovely . There is a lovely warm , welcoming kitchen which is really well - equipped and the big sitting room is perfect for communal times .There’s plenty of space for those ‘not so communal’ family times , too !
The location is beautiful !
Can’t recommend it highly enough - a real find !

A walking & mountain biking weekend
Just returned from a fabulous weekend with friends, courtesy of the Cnewr Farmhouse. We were 14, both adults and teenagers and the property fitted us easily and very comfortably. The house itself is beautifully decorated with lovely furnishings, comfortable bedding and plenty of bathrooms. The kitchen is fully stocked with room for everyone to sit down to eat. There is storage outside for bikes, room for parking. We walked up Pen y Fan and Bike Park Wales is approx 30 mins away for keen mountain bikers. A great place to stay.

Fabulous house in the Brecon Beacons
We stayed in this amazing house for my husband's 50th. The house is extremely spacious and never felt crowded even though there were 14 people in our party. The kitchen literally has every single piece of crockery or cutlery you would have in your own home and more, we never ran out of anything.
The bathrooms were spotlessly clean and lovely fluffy towels were provided.
Highly recommended.

Lovely, well equipped, warm farmhouse in fabulous setting.
Six couples stayed for the weekend to celebrate two 50th birthdays. The house is very comfortable and well equipped with lots of loos, and fab showers. It was very warm despite the cold weather and there was lots of hot water. We walked by the reservoir and at the nearby waterfalls and had a wonderful fun weekend.

Cnewr is a great house for get togethers because of all the space - and the ease of walking out of the dorr and being immediately able to walk. Amazing place! Going back next year.
Just stayed here for a week and it was wonderful. It's like a luxury farmhouse, really warm, loads of space, and the local area is gorgeous. We'll be heading back soon.

A perfect house for an active get together with old friends
Spent a fantastic long weekend at Cnewr with 15 friends. Beautifully decorated house with well equipped kitchen, comfy beds and great bathrooms. Perfect location for our annual weekend away with a group of great friends - climbed Pen Y Fan, rode horses at Pentre and visited Penderyn Distillery. Also spent lots of time enjoying the house - lots of great meals in the dining room and kitchen and time sat drinking wine by the fire in the great sitting room. We do this weekend every year and would struggle to find a better value house for a big group in the 14 years we've been doing this! Highly Recommend!

The most amazing farmhouse in the Brecons!
A beautifully renovated, perfectly fitted out farmhouse. We loved the attention to detail and it created the perfect environment for quality time with good friends. We would highly recommend it and can't wait to visit again. Loved it!

Weekend getaway
Four families for a weekend of walking and mountain biking in the Brecon Beacons - the house is big enough for 16 in comfort and has facilities to keep even the most demanding teenagers happy - for a while!
There is minimal wifi due to the area but this worked really well for us forcing the kids to connect verbally, playing games and actually talking for a change!! We all loved it.
The quality is excellent and all the fixtures and fittings finished to a really high standard - we have kitchen envy and shower envy now!
I would recommend Cnewr Farmhouse to large families or groups of families without hesitation and there is no doubt we will be returning for another visit soon.

Family holiday
We were looking for a large family holiday house for our family and happened to see this one, on line. It looked good and large enough for the 14 of us from Great Grandparents, to 4 small children and one dog. As soon as we walked in the impressive house, straight into the kitchen with the aga on what a welcome as we walked around the house and looked into each room it just got better and better. The decoration and fabrics are lovely in each room with lots of old furniture. The history on the house was really interesting, being in the family for so long.
