Spent a rather wet week here but that didn't matter as the cottage was so warm and cosy, especially with the log burner which was set ready for lighting when we arrived. Loved the fresh flowers on the table when we walked in. The cottage is incredibly well equipped with just about everything one could need, definitely the best we have stayed in. The beds are cosy and comfortable - we slept very well here. The lounge is comfortably furnished with a good selection of books, DVD's and games - perfect for those not so dry Welsh days. On arrival Peter talked us through a range of walks and activities that are around, some of which we did. Internet connection was also good. Although the local pub is closed, there are good ones near by that we tried. Can recommend the tow path walk along to Talybont for lunch at the White Hart

What a gorgeous location, definitely the best cottage we’ve stayed at! Beautiful, homely surroundings, very comfortable beds and well equipped luxury bathroom and kitchen. Nice touches such as freshly cut flowers in the lounge and bedroom, nice toiletries, slippers and bathrobes in the bathroom and supplies in the kitchen. The owners, Peter and Alexandra, were friendly and helpful - even assisted my husband book a morning fishing and recommended a local vet when Luna had overdone the running around. Luna dog loved the field, literally on the doorstep, for super games of fetch! We certainly recommend booking a break here and would definitely hope to return ourselves one day!
