There’s also a cosy reading room featuring a telescope for stargazing in the Dark Sky Reserve, along with maps, leaflets, and books about the local area. You can even use the provided bat detector to watch bats from the nearby church. The outdoor balcony, accessed from the kitchen, is perfect for alfresco dining, relaxing or even bird watching too! The area also offers numerous circular walks through local lanes. Brecon itself is home to a variety of annual festivals, including Brecon Jazz, Brecon Choir Festival, and Brecon Baroque Festival. The town also features a cinema and Theatre Brycheiniog, hosting a diverse range of performances, from ballet to opera, drama, and comedy, as well as live screenings from venues like London’s National Theatre. The nearby cathedral offers lunchtime concerts and more. Don’t forget, you're in the heart of a Dark Sky Reserve, perfect for stargazing. We greet guests on arrival and are available if needed, but otherwise, you’ll enjoy complete privacy.
