Spacious and well appointed Victorian style terraced house. Located close to brasseries, good range of restaurants, patisseries, mini-markets and pubs on Whitchurch Road. Child friendly home Travel cot with fitted sheets and High-chair are only available only on request when booking your stay. Household and linen are professionally cleaned, 5 to 10 minutes walk to Heath Hospital, 10 minutes walk to Roath Park and Gardens, 1.8 miles to Cardiff Castle. Bus stops on nearby Whitchurch Road and Allensbank Road. Good road access to M4 and A470. Weekly, repeat and long stay discounts are available.

Great base for exploring Cardiff and further afield.

We stayed here as a family of 5. It was a great base to explore Cardiff and further afield. The 2 bathrooms were definitely an advantage and our teens enjoyed sleeping in double beds! Due to COVID-19 restrictions there were various places closed or fully booked, but we still got to explore. This place is within 5 minute walk of lots of take away places, some restaurants and shops and a short drive to bigger shops etc. We'd managed to miss the fact there was no dining room but managed to make it work.

Very happy that you and your family enjoyed your visit to Cardiff and sty in our house. In the near future we will be changing the layout and furniture of the lounge such tab it can be converted between lounge and dining room mode. Thanks for staying with us.

About the neighbourhood

Your base will be very convenient to get to the city centre where Cardiff Castle, excellent night life, numerous shopping complexes and arcades are. The rugby internationals are at the Principality Stadium which is about 3 miles away. Cardiff City (Bluebirds) grounds are 3.2 miles or 20 minutes drive away. Cardiff Bay with its eateries and entertainments is 3.6 miles or 17 minutes drive away. UHW Hospital is about 5 minutes walk away. Roath and Heath parks are about 10 minutes walk away. About 3 minutes walk to Whitchurch Road would bring you to numerous specialist restaurants, brasseries and pubs. Whitchurch Road is an up and coming area for gastronomy.

Getting around

The most convenient way of getting around the city would be by walking as the house is close to the city centre and much of the city centre is now pedestrianised, bicycle rental (On street pick up and drop off), buses, taxis & car hire.

On street parking is available. A residents' taking scheme is in operation and you should be careful to park where permitted only. Cardiff Wales Airport is 20 mile or about 40 minutes drive away. Bristol Airport is 48 miles or about 1.5 hours drive. Cardiff Central Railway Station and Coach terminus are in the city centre about 3 miles away or 15 minutes drive.
