Interaction with guests
We give our guests a PIN code so that guests can access the property easily on arrival and one of the proprietors will call on the first evening to make sure that all is well. The proprietors live in the main residence and are on hand to help visitors should there be a problem. There will be a Welcome Pack consisting of a cake, milk, tea and coffee plus a sleeve of 10 Nespresso coffee capsules.

3 generations of family......5 of us and we loved this house. Very clean and comfortable. Very well equipped. A home from home. May lodge is in a great location to visit several interesting places so near to it. The whiteabbey train station is close by and easy to go to. Just a short trip and you are in belfast city...

One of the best equipped houses I have ever stayed in, from the food processor in the kitchen to the walk-in shower in the ensuite bathroom and the goosedown pillows on comfortable beds. Very well located for the train to Belfast and beyond, as well as exploring the Causeway coast.

We have stayed at May lodge twice now and both times found it to be an excellent experience. This time we arrived at Christmas, and our young children were very excited to find that the house had been fully decorated for our arrival. About the neighbourhood
We are half a mile from the lively village of Whiteabbey with a well-stocked grocery store, cafes, restaurants, hairdressers, beauty parlour. A Tesco Express is 10 minutes walk. Marks & Spencer is 1 mile away as is large Tesco. The 800-year old Carrickfergus Castle, one of Irelands oldest and most impressive Norman castles, is only 5 miles away. Belfast Zoo, the beautiful and historic Cave Hill offering stunning views over Belfast & the Lough, are all only ten minutes drive. The main residence has direct private access to the coastal path and beach, where you can enjoy leisurely walks and a gently scenic cycle.
Getting around
We are half a mile from M2/M5 Motorway network which links the whole of Northen Ireland. Bus and train services are within minutes of the properties. Two stops on the train take you to Waterfront Hall and Belfast Markets.
