With a touch of tartan and a dash of deluxe, a good night’s sleep is guaranteed in the two inviting bedrooms. The master bedroom has a superking size bed, smart TV with Freeview, en suite with shower over bath, and plentiful guest storage. The second bedroom benefits from zip’n’link beds, so you can choose from either a superking or twin set up, and also has large, fitted wardrobes. A family shower room completes this delightful home from home. The local area is one of the finest in the city. The Shore plays host to chic bistros, cocktail bars, and even Michelin starred restaurants, as well as art galleries and independent shops. Fancy something a little more commercial? Just next door is rainy-day paradise Ocean Terminal, full to the brim with high street and department stores, a cinema, gym, and popular eateries including Wagamama and Pizza Express. Permanently moored alongside Ocean Terminal is the Royal Yacht Britannia, voted the UK’s number one tourist attraction on TripAdvisor in 2014. However, if you find yourself yearning for medieval streets, castles and extinct volcanoes, fear not as the hubbub of the city centre is within easy reach. Just 15 minutes on one of the many buses servicing the area, and you’ll be strolling along the Royal Mile or climbing Arthur’s Seat. Entry to the apartment is from 16:00 onwards; however, please note that arrivals after 19:00 may incur a late arrival fee of 15 pounds for unsociable hours and arrivals after 10pm will incur a fee of £25. Earlier entry can perhaps be arranged but depends if there is a departure at your chosen apartment that day. This can be confirmed within 48 hours of arrival. If you are arriving earlier than 16:00 on your day of arrival, it is always worth contacting the property manager as they will always endeavour to give you access as soon as possible. You may be able to arrive early and leave luggage and come back however this is not guaranteed. The latest departure time is 11:00, however, a guaranteed later departure (up to 20:00) can be arranged for a fee of 50% of the daily rate for that day but please note this is subject to no existing booking arriving that day already. A £200 refundable damage/security deposit is due 7 days before arrival, and refunded after departure. All properties are strictly non-smoking, and do not accept hen/stag/party groups. The flat was spotless and in good order. Parking was a great bonus as we left the car and used the local buses; bus stop was literally just outside the main door. A few more little touches would make the rating Excellent - mirrors in...More
