It boasts the most outstanding panoramic views, and benefits from the convenience of being situated only 1.5 miles from the beautiful village of Beauly with its many amenities. It is perfect for a peaceful getaway and the ideal location for touring the Highlands. Fishing permits are also available to purchase for the River Beauly which boasts some of the best salmon fishing in the Highlands. For Golfing enthusiasts we are ideally placed within easy reach of Muir of Ord golf course, and as well as the picturesque 9 hole course at Aigas further up the Glen. There are of course numerous and outstanding courses in Inverness and Castle Stuart (host to the Scottish Open 2010-2013). There really is something for everyone within a convenient distance of Dunmore House.More

Great house, area and owner Just a pity the walk to the village is so steep Priory Hotel operate a free taxi service if you eat there....not brilliant but ok Fish and chip shop is very good Inverness has several great restos: Shapla Indian resto...More

Stayed 14 to 18 July. The cottage is very tidy, well equipped and has fantastic views over the Beauly Firth. Great base for touring the north highlands.

Had a fantastic week at this cottage,can't fault it in any way.took the dog and she loved it.the owners who lived next door was very nice and helped me out when I fell ill.

About the neighbourhood
We are centrally situated for touring the Highlands as well as only being a mile or so from the beautiful village of Beauly which boasts a variety of shops, cafes, and restaurants. Our local Pipe Band and Highland Dancers perform in the square every Thursday evening throughout May-September. There is fishing, bird watching, golf, pony trekking, lovely walks and drives all around the area. The stunning scenic beauty of Glen Affric is only a 20 minute drive up the glen - ideal for some walking/cycling and taking in the breathtaking Scottish scenery. Or simply watch Red Kites soar overhead from the comfort of the house!
