The Lodge sits in the Queens view, which is one of the most photographed views in Scotland, famed for its natural beauty. A fantastic place to spend time unwinding and enjoying the beautiful outdoor environment nearby. We intended to base ourselves here for the weekend and explore Pitlochry and further afield. We had a lovely stay in here! About a 20-minute drive from Pitlochry, it was close enough for convenience of restaurants, pubs, cafés and groceries, yet far enough out to feel completely surrounded by nature - right on the loch! About the neighbourhood
Our location is absolutely awesome. We sit right on the South side of Loch Tummel. You have no neighbours other than wildlife, so are not overlooked at all. The views over the Loch can be enjoyed not only from the garden, but from your seat in the lounge, and from three of the four bedrooms as well as the games room which gets a particular glow when the sun goes down on the Loch. You can swim in the Loch, or kayak and fish. There are walks to be had right on the doorstep and all around the area. We are in adventure capital of Scotland for cycling, white water rafting, as well as many other out door pursuits. Pitlochry is the closest town which has good restaurants a festival theatre and musical entertainment. Blair castle is nearby

Definitely need a car when staying at this beautiful lodge as we are rural.
Closest airport is Edinburgh which is approximately 110 minutes away. cars can be hired from here at the airport or edinburgh airport has a tram (20 mins ) or bus service into Edinburgh city centre where you can get the train to Perth where you can also hire cars.
Closest station Pitlochry which offers train and bus links north towards Aviemore / Inverness and Perth / Edinburgh south bound.
