Stable Cottage is a charming converted holiday home, attached to an old Victorian sandstone house. It is a short 10 minute walk from Ayr town centre and train station. There is a wide courtyard in front of the house for easy, off road parking. The cottage is set away from the road, and the bedroom is on the garden side, so nice and quiet. This recently renovated cottage is all on 1 floor with no steps, so suitablle for wheel chair or partially abled access. There is a cosy twin bedroom. The living room has 2 sofas with television and wi-fi access. The modern kitchen at the back opens onto a private garden with terrace for a cup of tea in the sun. The cottage is a short 15 minute walk to the sea front to enjoy the lovely Ayr promenade. Getting around
You can easily walk to the town centre, beach and Ayr. There is a bus stop nearby that can take you down the coast south of Ayr to Culzean and Dunure. The train and bus station are short 10 minute walk, which can connect you easily to Stranraer, Glasgow or for a day trip to Arran (boats from Ardrossan).
