Set on the top floor with uninterrupted, panoramic views of Mont Blanc, Le Refuge is a stylish, two-bedroom apartment in the heart of Chamonix, next to the river and minutes from the shops, ski lifts and public transport. With a south-facing balcony, open-plan layout and high ceilings the apartment feels really light, and is incredibly spacious at 70 square metres. Considering the central location, it's a surprise to find that it's in a tranquil setting, facing away from the street and not overlooked by any other buildings. This has been an absolutely amazing apartment! Super check-in with very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and very comfortable accommodation with fantastic views and a very central location. Highly recommended.

About the neighbourhood
Chamonix is a charming, historic town nestled in the French Alps at the foot of Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in Western Europe. The majestic, snow-capped peaks and cascading glaciers which put it on the map over a hundred years ago remain as impressive as ever, continuing to draw visitors from across the world. And when you consider how much the mountains have to offer, you can see why. In winter, the skiing is world-class with an extensive network of ski runs and lifts, the highest of which takes you up to a staggering 3,842m. The off-piste skiing is second to none, with endless options for ski touring, too. You can also get involved in cross-country skiing, snow-shoe walking, ice climbing and mountaineering. How to get there
The apartment is only 60 minutes by car from Geneva airport. There are regular, pre-paid shuttle buses which leave directly from the airport terminal, dropping you within 100m of the building. It's also possible to get to Chamonix via train from Geneva airport (not direct) as well as connect with trains from other destinations in France.
