Great place to stay if you want a quiet holiday as a residential area so not loads of pubs, clubs etc. Beautiful restaurants on the beaches and the campsite shop is fantastic, you can get everything you need.
The apartment had everything you could need, yes it's dated but is a comfortable base for your holiday as you spend most of the time outside enjoying the weather it doesn't really matter if the fixtures & fittings are dated!
A car is definitely a bonus to allow you to explore but ISN'T essential as the buses are great & you can enjoy some fab walks along the beach to explore nearby Cabopino.
Playa Real has a great indoor pool & Jacuzzi so on days not so nice you have something to do!
We would recommend a trip to the Rancho Grill restaurant, Triana & Le Papillon all fantastic food & service.
