The apartment is in a historical building, Castel Terracena, the former Norman residential Palace of Salerno, dating to the end of the 11th century. About the neighbourhood
The Norman Balcony is located in the former residential palace of the Norman Duke of Salerno, Robert Guiscard (late eleventh century), in the heart of the Medieval Salerno, behind the apse of the cathedral built under the patronage of the same Robert with the archbishop Alphanus around 1080, and consecrated by pope Gregory VII in 1084. The small alleys, the balconies with their flowers and hanging laundry, the many old-fashioned food shops, the bars, pubs, fish restaurants and pizzerias will contribute to make your holiday unforgettable.
