Old Town House is a comfortable spacious place to stay in the old town of Rethymno. It is family run and friendly, we enjoyed having an aperitive on the roof terrace before going out and enjoying a meal in one of the many high quality eateries close by, I recommend.

I have no problem recommend this apartment to anybody. We had anything we needed and more. Thanks Nick and your lovely wife for a warm welcome, hope to see you again someday :-) And thanks to Valantis for your informative e-mails before our arrival.

We spent just under 2 weeks in this superb property, conveniently located in the old town....a short walk from everything. This is a quality rental, fully equipped, and spotlessly clean and comfortable. There’s a balcony overlooking the street which is ideal for breakfast, and a roof terrace with table and chairs and sun loungers- shade if required- for quieter moments. We used the double bedroom; the bed was very comfortable and the bedding of good quality. There are fly screens on virtually all the windows- a real bonus at night. We found the booking process easy and efficient and arrangements for access simple. Anna and Nick welcomed us into the property and were available, if required, to answer any queries via a landline provided in the rental. A range of everything was provided including washing liquids and powders, shampoos and shower gels, toilet and kitchen rolls and grocery basics....Anna had thought of everything to get you going! Homemade cinnamon cookies welcomed us too...delicious! We would unreservedly recommend this property. You get what you see. We had a lovely stay in Rethymnon. If you want to be car free, there’s plenty to do, right on your doorstep, and an efficient public bus service.Thank you Anna and Nick for a memorable holiday.

FABULOUS!! Anna (host) welcomed us so warmly, gave detailed information re what we needed to know re the house, fabulous house, fabulous location, fabulous ambience and equipped with all you need and more, fabulous public transport to many scenic options nearby, fabulous shops, eating options. This holiday experience faultless!! It can’t get better than this!!!!!!!!!

We stayed for one week in this very spacy appartment in downtown rethymno. Welcomed by the host with good explanation of the facility. Travelled with a family of 5 and that worked out great. You are in the middle of the touristic zone but if you close the door it is all silent in the house. We would definitely like to come back in the future. Free parking is a few minutes walk if you come by car. We arranged paid parking for a week around the corner which was very convenient. Compliments to the great hosts of this house !!!

This house can sleep six but my friend and I rented it between us at the end of October 2017. This is the best property I have ever rented. It was spotlessly clean, the location was brilliant and the owner’s parents who manage it were unbelievably kind, helpful and friendly.

We have just got back from a fabulous 5 days in this lovely house in Rethymnon. Mr and Mrs Gasparis were there to meet us and gave us such a warm welcome. The house is situated in the centre of the old town and just steps away from everything. The house is very comfortable and contains everything you will need for your stay. Rethymnon is a very vibrant, safe and interesting place to be and people are so friendly there. I can't rate the house and the owners highly enough. Wish I could give 10 stars.

There are not enough words to tell you how wonderful and prefect this house was. I want to go back and live there. It was centrally located, you can walk everywhere. There were 3 of us and was more than enough room as it would easily accommodate 6. The owners were beyond amazing and made it seamless. I think we made friends for life. I would recommend this to anyone traveling to Crete. We will definitely go back, many times! The location, the people, the food, the restaurants, the wines and ouzo were all perfect.I have traveled alot and this is by far is my favorite. If you have never been to Greece, this is the place you want to be.

Loved my week long stay in this lovely apartment in old town Rethymno. In the midst of everything, a short walk to the beach and everything you could want in an apartment. Anna and Nikki were so nice and friendly, Nikki was still nice to us even when we got lost in the town when we arrived and he had to come out and find us. I have just a couple of little suggestions that would make this rental even more perfect. A full length mirror somewhere would be so helpful but again I must reiterate that I am nitpicking. Also could the instructions for getting to the apartment be revised so that if you are coming from Heraklion airport you know where to leave the motorway and perhaps if possible a little more detail to find the car park. We got terribly confused on our way in and we have driven abroad quite a lot before so that would be a great help. It was lovely to sit on the balcony in the morning with coffee and watch the town waking up and coming to life, and to sit up on the roof terrace, particularly in the evening as the sun was coming down and watch the fort in the distance. The beautiful little streets in the old town lend themselves so well to meandering around just soaking up the atmosphere, and it's not distance at all to walk to the fort. We found our favourite restaurant on the way to the fort - Vassilis,-lovely food and delightful, friendly people. We also enjoyed a lovely meal Loggia, which we stumbled upon down a little 'alley'(6 E. Fotaki Str.). All in all really lovely holiday made so enjoyable by a lovely place to stay and a wonderful friendly welcome from Anna and Nikki, Thank you so much.
