Absolutely great place to stay and the hot tub is brilliant. Although the owner and his partner were on vacation when we were there. They left it in the hands of Doreen who was very helpful.

About the neighbourhood
The town of Birzebbuga is located approx. 2km from the islands main fishing village of Marsaxlokk. You can either walk along the coastline or travel by bus between them. Marsaxlokk fishing village does get very busy at certain times of the day due to the local market and many restaurants, however Birzebbuga remains calm and peaceful and is not invaded by day trippers. The Birzebbuga seafront, harbour and sandy beaches are within walking distance, only 400 metres from the property. The 3km sea front provides for a pleasant walk or swim at one of two bays. The charming St. Georges Bay is peppered with colourful fishing boats and has a small sandy beach, rock swimming is also possible here. The larger Pretty Bay beach is ideal for all ages including families with small children. SHOPS, BARS...
