The outside of No 20 Riverbank. Photo taken June 2015.
The large, bright kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped. Keen cooks will love it!
The open fire is always welcome after a day's surfing, fishing, swimming or walking!
Bright, airy, south-facing living area, with an exceptionally well-equipped kitchen.
No 20 faces due west, with a large south-facing garden. Wonderful sunsets from the front too!
Huge main bedroom has a dressing room and ensuite bathroom. There's a double futon in this room too.
Second bedroom, with double and single beds looks out to the sea.
Third bedroom, a single, also looks straight out to sea.
Sunny picnic/patio area to the rear of the house. Perfect for summer lunches and BBQs!
Large, fully-enclosed grassy garden: south-facing, gets sun all day. Perfect for stargazing too!
The front of the house looks straight out at Easkey Castle and the ocean.
Many beautiful beaches surround Easkey. This is Coney Island, with Cnoc na Ri behind.
We love stand-up paddling in Enniscrone & Lough Gill. Photo taken July 2014 on Lough Gill.
The river Easkey - one of the best salmon rivers in Ireland - runs right by the estate.
River Easkey - photo taken from the river path to the shore. Riverbank on the right of the photo.
The house is very popular with fishermen who come to fish the rivers Easkey and Moy.
Easkey Castle from the shore walk at sunset.
Surfers come from all over Europe every Autumn/Winter to No 20 to take on Easkey's famous waves.
Enniscrone Beach, links course, water park, dunes and cafes: just 10 minutes' drive from the house.
One of our favourite local views: Nephin & the Moy estuary from the top of the dunes in Enniscrone.
View from our recent trek up Benbulben. Yeats Country and Benbulben a short drive from Easkey.
Winter sunset, taken from outside Kilcullen's Seaweed Baths in Enniscrone last February.

I cooked three meals a day for six people and it was a pleasure to...

About the neighbourhood
The Ceide Fields neolithic site with the stunning north Mayo coastline (Downpatrick Head, Lacken Bay, the heritage town of Killala) is a lovely drive to the west of Easkey, while to the east lies Yeats Country, magnificent beaches at Dunmoran, Strandhill, Rosses Point and Coney Island (accessible on a causeway only at low tide). For hikers, the Ox Mountains are right behind the village, and Benbulben and the Sligo mountains only a short drive away. For families, Enniscrone offers a huge, shallow beach, a stunning links golf course, water park and cafes and shops. We often visit Lough Kee Forest Park - an hour's drive away - with its amazing kids' zone, zip lines and forest walk. We also love stand-up paddling on Lough Gill and in Enniscrone, and there are two surf schools in Ennisc... more
