If you can imagine what Hawaii must have been like 100 years ago, before all the development during the 20th century, you can perhaps begin to appreciate what Isla Saboga and the Pearl Islands has to offer. It is perhaps one of the world's last unspoiled archipelagos, and the fact that it is only 35 miles from vibrant Panama City makes it even more special.

About the neighbourhood
Isla Saboga is an undeveloped island in the bay of Panama, just 35 miles from Panama City. Dozens of secluded, deserted beaches and miles of trails through the tropical jungle are here to explore. Or you can just relax on some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Saboga was the filming location for three seasons of CBS's Survivor TV series, and it retains all the beauty and natural environment. If you can imagine what Hawaii must have been like 100 years ago, Saboga and the Pearl Islands will give you a hint.
Getting around
Most transportation on the island is by foot. There are numerous trails and dirt roads that lead to secluded beaches to explore, and the village on the other side of the island is only a 10 minute walk away. We have a couple of Polaris 4-wheelers and are happy to run guests over to town for a quick trip, or to show you the island.
Most other transportation is by panga, the small fishing boats that the locals use to take guests fishing, snorkeling, whale watching or island hopping. We have several pangueros we use and are happy to help arrange trips. Pangas can come pick you up at the beach directly in front of the house.
