On top of that the cottage is just five minutes drive from the busy town of Dundalk and the award winning Dundalk (racing) Stadium, 2 minutes drive from the renowned Ballymascanlon golf course, and only a 10 min drive from the beautiful medieval village of Carlingford. Accommodation This cottage is beautifully decorated and furnished and will comfortably sleep 8 people between 3 beautiful bedrooms and the sofa-bed in the living room. All linen and towels are provided and price includes a full cleaning and laundry service. The two upstairs rooms have en-suite shower-rooms and offer stunning views of the Cooley mountains and across Dundalk Estuary. The third bedroom (smaller bedroom with double bed)-- on the ground floor -- has access to the back garden through double patio doors. The main bathroom is spacious and comfortable with a corner bath and separate shower unit. The country style kitchen/dining room is at the heart of the house and is fully equipped with electric hob, electric oven, dishwasher, television, microwave and fridge freezer. It also has double patio doors leading out to the private back garden. Complete with the impressive traditional open fire (including fireside chairs), the living room is very cosy and, as was mentioned has a couch/sofa bed, as well as a television and small coal cupboard. Additional Features McEvoy Cottage offers plentiful parking at the front of the cottage and the back-garden has a large decked area with BBQ at extra cost garden furniture. Inside there is also a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer and the house has oil fired central heating throughout.More
