Para lo que pide no pago ni 50€ la noche, la zona de jardÃn en mal estado, la planta baja es un sótano sin ventilación y la poca que tiene adjunto fotos, esta planta llena de humedades y con un olor insoportable, el aire acondicionado en varias zonas roto, salón y habitación fondo y si abres la ventana verás la foto, nos huimos que marchar y similar cancelación, además nos encontramos un lagarto enorme y gracias a la perro pudimos dormir. Todo lo que reluce no es oro y una imagen vale más que mil palabras por lo que no aconsejo esta vivienda vacacional, todo negativo. Nos cambiamos a otra.

Excellent welcome and location but a few niggles
Booking and welcome were easy and pleasant. Pedro welcomes us to the villa and showed us around. He had also provided a few basics as a welcome pack since due to the strange UK flight the times we didn’t arrive until after nine.
The pool an outside surrounds are well maintained and pleasant to use.
The interior is a strange layout with half of the subterranean rooms under the adjoining property. This is not a problem just a little weird. On the plus side the underground games room has probably the best pool table we have had in a villa.
Wi-fi is good but a bit erratic. Good enough to watch SKY Go.
Now the niggles. Some of the interior wiring looks unsafe but did not cause any problems. The air conditioning in the games room is not functioning. We did not use either of the televisions so cannot comment.

Great place with wonderfull hosts
We had great time. All the amenties provide wonderfull experience. You can spend your time in villa active but also always find a quiet spot to relax and take a minute under sunshines!

Perfect destination for winter tropical paradise!
Upon arrival i was blown away by the stunning garden a true tropical paradise pretty flowers butterflies trees. amazing clean pool sooo inviting after the flight.
Big high walls and trees around property make you feel really private and safe and secure.
villa is huge plenty of big bedrooms to choose from all with there own charm,
Nice big clean living room and big kitchen diner with everything you need if you want to cook at home.
huge games room downstairs great for grabbing a cool chilled half hour before you hit the sunshine again.
lovely big double shower in downstairs bedroom ensuite could of spent ages in there.
You could sleep so many people there also great space in all rooms.
Cant praise pedro the owner who met us enough,he was really helpful kind and respectful.
All round made my winter holiday to gran canaria perfect if your thinking about booking it do it you will honestly not be disapointed.

A fantastic villa
We stayed at this lovely villa from the 5th August to the 15th, and were also wary of the two star review; however we could not have been happier.
John was very communicative and welcoming in the lead up to our stay and provided all required information and contact details.
Upon arrival, John’s brother Pedro was there to greet us and show us around as promised, including advising of local amenities. We were also pleasantly surprised to see bottled water and some beverages had been provided. Pedro was easily contactable during our stay and extremely accommodating.
Parking is a 2 minute walk away at most, easily manageable with shopping.
The games room was a great bonus of this villa with plenty of room to watch films in comfort. The projector having been removed was a shame but the replacement TV and DVD player sufficed – we watched the trilogy boxset of Pirates of the Caribbean in English without issue. A newer TV with a HDMI input (for use with a laptop) would be a nice touch but is not a deal-breaker at all. The Pool table was great and the Foosball table did actually have a ball – it just needed removing from the goal return piping.
The TV upstairs did primarily have German/Spanish channels only (we found BBC World News Europe which was English) however you are in a non-English speaking country. I’ll say no more…
The pool was a decent size which we spent a lot of time in. No need for the heating thanks to the weather taking care of that for us; many games of volleyball were had. Five sun loungers are also provided for further relaxation.
A special mention of thanks goes to Pedro who went the extra mile for us. Due to having a bag stolen on a beach trip to Peurto de Mogan, my Father-in-law and I were stranded there for 6 hours after Sixt reneged on a promise to recover the car and us back to Maspalomas. Pedro spent about 3 hours on the phone to Sixt on our behalf and even offered to pick us up himself.
Overall, the Villa is a great asset. No mould and no leaks from the sprinklers (which came on daily at about 3am). In places it does need a bit of TLC but nothing that impacts a holiday at all.
We would definitely look to return for a family holiday in future.

Fantastic family holiday
I must admit, I was a little worried after reading the previous review shortly before we flew out to this villa. However, the issues mentioned must have been fixed as we did not experience any problems. The villa was exactly as described and shown in the photos and the pool was lovely and warm. John was very quick to respond to all emails before the holiday and was most accommodating when we had to amend our initial booking due to the collapse of Monarch Airlines. Pedro was very friendly and helpful when we arrived and the welcome drinks & snacks he had ready for us were much appreciated.

I wanted you to have a chance to reply to the attached before I posted on trip adviser but you did not reply to my or trip advisor emails. I have also sort legal advice. I have attached some photos and have others that I will be posting.
Firstly the positives
The villa was easy to find with good directions. The owners were nice to deal with and kept the pool very clean and were responsive when asked for extra items such as when I asked for the BBQ. The villa was quiet at night but had some traffic noise during the day as it is close to a busy road. it s well protected from the wind and has a lovely well established large garden with plenty of good sun beds and some pool toys for the kids. There are a number of extras such as ping pong, pool and a table football ( no ball) that were fun and a nice touch. The owners provided plenty of towels, although the linen needs updating and didnt fit the king bed properly. Overall the villa is large, although the large part is underground.
Now the negatives
The pictures on trip adviser are old and do not accurately show the property. The property as a whole could do with general updating beyond what is listed below.
The cinema room no longer has a projector and has cables coming out of the wall which I was unclear were safe. The replacement was a tv and dvd player but there were not many DVDs and none for children.
The villa is advertised as child friendly but there are no dvds for children, no plastic cups or plates etc, stairs are dangerous, you would need to separated either upstairs or downstairs or by very long corridor unless you all slept in same room and the TV only had German channels.
The bed layout is different from the photos, although portable beds were provided. Just an extra hassle when arriving late with small children.
As stated the TV only had German channels , although luckily there was you tube.
The villa is advertised as having parking. I expect that to be outside or on site. Parking was 3-5 min walk away. Not much but not as advertised and enough when moving a lot of grocery's and baggage. Description should be clear that parking is a small walk away.
The roof of the king bed en suite leaked when ever the sprinklers were on , which was about every two days. Major water and I assume that has lead to the next problem.
There was serious mould in the property. I assume that we were the first to use the villa for some time so took the smell at face value. However after a couple of days ( my wife who is allergic and kids one of whom as asthma were complaining) further investigation showed mould under the king bed, in the kitchen etc. Not great. Apart from hidden mould the villa was clean but we did also need to give it a mop to get rid of dust when we first arrived.
The biggest disappointment apart from the flooding, mould , lack of English TV was the pool. I paid extra for a heated pool. The site is still advertised as heated but it is obvious that the heating system has not worked for a number of years.
I looked at Tripadvisor Ts &Cs and I would call the above significant difference from advertisement but you have to inform them the same day you arrive. It took some time to discover all the above and I cant imagine Trip advisor finding us another villa at 9pm at night at Easter for family of 5 with 2 small children. So trip advisor insurance is of no help. However I still we be contacting them and my insurance provider to see what can be done. The owners at a minimum need to sort the description, mould and leaking roof.
