Poplar Tree Lodge, Crai, Brecon - Shabby
Beautiful views but the accommodation is 'not' 5*as stated on their own website (very shabby, run-down & need better cleaners).
It needs new sofa's, almost all of the dinning chairs are wobbly, the kids size pool/snooker table needs replacing (ripped cloth) and situed somewhere other than the living room as theres not enough room to play it, the downstairs rug needs a deep wet clean or replacing, badly scraped scuff marks on the wall by living room TV, curtain rod on a ridiculous slant, not all TVs work (one doesnt even have the arial lead to connect it), TV screens were dirty, the bedroom ceiling glass light shades need cleaning (has accumulated loads of thick dust), the wooden flooring needed mopping, one of the wall sockets has a plug pin rammed in it, the hot tub water was dirty!! and the 1 and only clock in the accommodation didnt work.
Its located on farmland with some residential houses (and other eco lodges).
Have to share the hot tub & garden, not ideal at all, children have to go past your doors/windows to get to the trampoline etc.
Very remote location.
