Surrounded by beautiful countryside, with walks from the door, a large garden and a pub/restaurant across the road, this could offer that relaxing escape you need.Originally built over 200 year ago, and used as a barn until 2000, this award winning environmentally-friendly, 4 star stone cottage, retains many original features plus the comforts of modern living. It is furnished and equipped to a high standard.

The lounge/diner is comfortably furnished and the sofabed can be used for additional guests. There is a large downstairs bathroom with bath and shower. The kitchen in compact but well equipped. Upstairs there is a large bedroom with a kingsize bed. There is space for guestbeds/cot. There are separate complimentary laundry facilities. There is a large garden and patio (shared with The Swallows), an orchard with pond, a playhouse and toys for young children.

Chesterfield is Derbyshire's largest town, famous for its Crooked Spire. Visit the Chesterfield Museum to find out why the spire is twisted. The oldest part of the town, The Shambles, dates back to medieval times and has an interesting mix of shops and cafes.
