    The East Wing is part of a 14th Century Manor House in the heart of the Breton countryside. A state-recognised site of historic interest, the manor has a fascinating history and the original owners, the Rouxels, an ancient crest of arms.

    Next to a working farm, The East Wing is perfect for those who want to get away from it all and relax. Here you can walk or cycle along empty roads, enjoy a barbecue over an open fire, or just sit in the garden. With very little light pollution, our garden is the perfect spot for star-gazing.

    It is no surprise that Brittany is one of the favourite destinations for French holidaymakers as it has so much to offer for walkers, cyclists, art and culture lovers and foodies.

    Walkers will want to take in the beautiful and mysterious Broceliande forest, haunted by tales of King Arthur and Merlin and only 20 minutes drive.

    Brittany is heaven for cyclists as empty roads, canal paths and green routes take you through Medieval towns and villages.

    Art lovers will enjoy the centre for contemporary art housed within the 18th century chateau of the Domaine de Kerguehennec, set in landscaped sculpture gardens.
