Nice apartment with one large bedroom, pleasant living room, bathroom and kitchen. The apartment is time after time used by a family as a second house, so the overall feeling is quite stay-at-home. The flat is oriented to street view, but strong walls make it out of hearing. The apartment is very pleasant especially in hot summer - it keeps relatively cool during hot seasons. The large, separate, bedroom is over 25m2, quite big, and easily offers sleeping for 4 persons. Sleeping capacity can be also redistributed to the living room, equipped with 2 foldable sofas. The bathroom offers pleasant corner-style bathtub.

Love the location close to everything host super accommodating and responded to all our questions. Bakery 150 meters away right next to small mini market and only a short walk to heart of Prague. Look forward to our next trip.

Location couldn´t be better. On a quiet street, less than 20 minutes' walk from the Old Town Square and Charles Bridge and 5 minutes from a modern shopping centre for all your food needs (a giant Tesco). Two minutes from a tram stop to connect...More

About the neighbourhood
Our house is on the borderline of 'Lesser Town', the historical, medieval core of Prague's left bank, with the Castle area, and 'Smíchov', a traditional residential area, mostly with 18-19th century architecture.

If you turn right from our house, you are in Lesser Town (Malá Strana), which is quite touristy (for obvious reasons, but only on the main trails) and very beautiful to get lost in its tiny streets, see the Lennon's Wall, the Kampa park, Charles Bridge and many more.

If you turn left, you're in Smíchov, which is more typical for contemporary, local Prague zeitgeist - it's full of restaurants, pubs, bars, bistros, cafés, shops, cinemas, theaters, clubs, venues - you name it.
Getting around
There is a tram spot cca 50m from the house, which is frequented by some of the main tram lines which criss-cross the center. So if you need to get to any part of the city, it's very easy to get there during daytime and at night as well.

The nearest metro station is 'Anděl' on the yellow line B, cca 400m from the house.

However, the flat is very centrally located - near the historical Újezd Gate to the Lesser Town, so the most recommended option is to walk your way through the pictoresque streets of historical Prague.

Railway: Prague Main Station: 3.0 km
From Prague's airport (PRG), you can either take a private transfer (21 EUR, please ask and we're happy to arrange it) or you can take the public transport (1 EUR).

By public transport, you take the bus no. 119 from the terminal building (it stops both at T1 and T2) and get off at its final stop 'Nádraží Veleslavín'. Here you change to metro line 'A' and go to 'Malostranská' station.
Here you take tram either number 12/15/20 and go to 'Švandovo divadlo' stop. From there, it's cca 50m walking to the house.
