Welcome to BajaMar (A Belize Tourism Board Gold Standard accredited property) . Located in desirable Mata Grande/Mata Chica neighborhood, this house was completed in 2010 and boasts pristine white sand beach, private infinity fresh water pool which overlooks to barrier reef, 3rd story viewing deck, palapa with bar, with beverage cooler & grill, 4 kayaks for guests to enjoy, and a further outdoor kitchen with gas grill, wine fridge and seating for 10 or more.
House is ideal for any reunion, small wedding or family & friends get together. House consists of 5 bedrooms, 5 baths and 4,500+ sq ft of living space. 3 of the 5 bedrooms have private kitchenettes, bathrooms, personal safes, and plasma TV's which all have private entrances.

Second time staying here...best place ever!
I can't say enough great things about BajaMar! I could start with the fact that Alfred and Diannie are the best hosts you'll ever find in Belize. From the second we booked the trip until the second we left, we were so well taken care of.

Some good, some not so good
Alfred and Dianie are wonderful hosts. Extremely helpful in explaining how to get around, tour information, restaurant information and in general always there to assist. Dianie is a great cook and always provides more than enough food for the group. Suggest you try her Pineapple and Raisin chicken and her fried chicken. She is also a great baker so if you are planning a special celebration that requires a cake be sure and check with her.
Unfortunately, Baja Mar is in need of some serious repairs. The house needs a very thorough professional housecleaning. The first 3 days, our party that stayed in the upstairs bedrooms suffered as they had no hot water and very little water pressure...the downstairs bathrooms also suffered the same fate. Eventually Alfred was able to repair. The bar be que does not work, the dishwasher and stove need replacement. Kayaks are not useable because they are filled with "stuff'. The pool was a bit cloudy and we all had our doubts about diving in.The grounds need a cleanup, and the palapa near the pool is unkempt. Basically, the house description and photos, may have been up to date in 2010 when house was new, but certainly not in 2024.
