The highlight of this house for my kids was the pier with the lounge chairs on it. My teenagers enjoyed lounging in the sun and taking quick dips in the ocean and my 10 year old son spent the entirety of our time here fishing off the pier. Helpful hint, buy bait fish at the place you can feed the tarpon. He caught so many fish, and it really made his vacation!
The pool is nice as is the deck in front of the house with the chairs and hammocks. The house in comfortable and big enough for a family of 5 to spread out. It was clean and quiet. Weezie's next door is super convenient for a quick lunch or breakfast if you don't feel like cooking, but it would be easy enough to cook in the well stocked kitchen. Great place to stay, would stay again and would recommend.

The location is a little further from town....but we enjoyed the 10-15 minute walk each day. Having the house pretty much on the beach was handy, and that pool was a welcomed refresher on a daily basis! Please bring bug spray, and use it; even if you don’t think you need it, you will! Those little sand flies can really do a number! The beds could use a little updating, but other than that the house was PERFECT!

Our stay at Barbara’s Beach House was fantastic. Super clean, comfortable beds, lots of room for a family of six, steps from the water, bike rentals on site, super friendly helpful property caretakers, the pool was so refreshing after a day of fishing or snorkling, close to the grocery store, and the hammocks were the family’s favorite afternoon napping spot. We will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful location, great stay
We were upgraded to another of their properties. Great help from owners and staff, great pools and docks in both locations. The original location had gorgeous wood throughout, pool, nice porch , but the second location had spectacular porch with wide open views of the ocean and was even more spacious, so I'd say that was hard to beat. Both places were wonderful. Will come again. Hard part was figuring out who to leave the tips with, as I left before the office was open, so I hope they got to the right people.

We had the best time on our vacation and a big part was this beautiful house with a gorgeous pool. The surrounding grounds were clean with a nice grill and picnic tables for us to use. The staff was alway nice and helpful. Honestly I hope to come back next year. Can’t imagine a nicer place.

would definitely return
randy was very accomodating and friendly. the location was great; close to town via the beach bike path but far enough out to be very quiet. the kids loved having a pool right out the front door. the home was very clean and the hardwoods were beautiful. don't forget to grab some cooking oil, we found that was about the only thing we were missing.

Gorgeous and Convenient!
Barbaras beach house was perfect for our group of six friends. We arrived just as the sun set and just walked there from the airport, a gorgeous 10 minute flight from BZE! The staff and management were great at communicating and providing any information we needed. The entrance to the property is gated and the grounds are beautifully taken care of! The pool and porch are just outside of Weezies which is convenient to grab a beer or eat at their cafe. The house looks just like the photos, the layout is good for groups and the interior is clean and comfortable with air conditioning in each space. The pool is wonderful to have right out the front door, it is shared with the neighboring house but there is plenty of room to feel private. We spent our evenings and mornings on the front deck and jumped off the beautiful palapa while star gazing at night. We suggest grabbing a bike from the manager when you arrive, we biked around the whole island a few times, its the best way to experience Caye Caulker. The location is outside the main strip so it feels quiet yet the island is so small you have everything easily accessible. We will be back!

Caye Caulker Barbara’s Beach House

A quiet beach resort
We had a good time! The house was nice and peaceful! The only downside is internet went down but they were trying to fix it! Over all a good trip!
