This was our first trip to Belize, so we didn't know really what to expect or how to navigate the various activities. The staff at Wataview handled everything. And when I say "everything", I mean EVERYTHING. Let me first talk about the staff at the house. We had two full wonderful chefs shopping for groceries and preparing meals. The food was creative and super fresh. They accommodated a host food allergies and made great suggestions about different meal ideas. There is an on-site property manager that handled everything from getting the cushions on the chairs each day, to transporting the stand-up paddle boards to the water. The cleaning staff did an amazing job and even handled our laundry with care. We asked for a bartender for some days and he was awesome - serving a drink of the day and making sure the pool vibe was always flowing. The property manager helped coordinate different tours - from snorkeling to a catamaran scuba and lobster hunting trip. She arranged for golf carts to be delivered to the house ready to use, and even helped coordinate taxis and air transport from the mainland to San Pedro. The house is beautiful and perfectly maintained. We enjoyed the pool, the tennis court, some basketball, and the weight room. All of the beds were great and a couple of the rooms have outdoor showers! We traveled as 4 generations - from my 82 year old mom to my 6 month grandson - the house was perfectly equipped to handle the family. I am probably doing the experience a disservice, but the entire week was perfect - made more so by the wonderful caring staff and great accommodations. I can't imagine going back to Belize and not staying here.

Where does one even begin to explain the well appointed, incredibly comfortable, spacious home, complete with amazing staff and very helpful Management. My family and I spent 10 luxurious days/nights at Wataview. We were pampered from the moment we set foot in this amazing home. I must admit, I am a finicky traveller and a fussy eater. Silvia, an amazing Chef, did not disappoint - everything was spectacular. We asked for Strawberry Shortcake one night for dessert - she had never made one before and she pulled it off with a 10/10. Joanne the Manager of the property had made arrangements for a masseuse to come on site, arranged for a painting class and Belize's ONLY Sommelier took the time to come to the house for an amazing presentation on Sparkling Wines. If these past two plus years of the pandemic have taught us anything it's that life is short - book this house - you will NOT regret it....we definitely will be going back soon. From the town of San Pedro to the beaches of Ambergris Caye, this villa and its staff are a 10 of 10s. The house, the staff, the villa, the food - all rate the highest. And Chef Sylvia and her cooking was over the top. She should write a cookbook!. And Caretaker Edwin is a virtual handy man with incredible skills. Our group of adults did tours to mainland, water activities, deep sea fishing, shopping in town, lunching at nearby restaurants, etc - all with safety and convenience.

In 2020, my Belize vacation was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. I contacted Wataview and they allowed me to select another date without difficulty. Nine friends journeyed with me for a 5 day/4 night adventure; Belize left nothing undesired. Wataview highlights: 1. Efficient communication: Joanne was consistent with sending property details, providing timely answers to questions, arranging transportation from Belize City to San Pedro, coordinating intervals for local companies to deliver the golf carts, discuss excursions, and even perform group covid testing at Wataview for our return to the US. 2. Chefs Sylvia and Kirsty: Words cannot express our gratitude to these ladies for preparing the meals. We didn’t have to think about anything. Our food choices were emailed and from the list Sylvia and Kirsty created magnificent entrees. The group’s preference was Belizean cuisine so the home cooked meals meant so much more then dining at local restaurants. Among our guests, 2 had shellfish allergies and 2 were celebrating birthdays during our stay. What’s the correlation here? Whatever accommodations were needed, Sylvia and Kirsty went above and beyond to ensure all of our needs were met. Brazo! 3. Cleanly premises: Even with a party of 10, the home was kept immaculate. The housekeepers arrived daily to tidy bedrooms, bathrooms, and the common areas. Laundry and ironing were performed when requested. Edwin (the groundskeeper) was available 24/7. Never did we feel the staff was intrusive or that their presence infringed upon our privacy. We will definitely return to Wataview, but the next time our vacation will be extended beyond 5-days.

Wataview was absolutely amazing! I could literally feel the stress from the year melting away while enjoying catching up with family on this magical island. The house itself gives everyone their own private space inside, while also providing multiple outdoor spaces to relax. We spent the majority of our time outside in the pool and hanging out by the bar. However, we were also able to kayak and paddle board from the pier. A huge thank you to Edwin for taking care of us! Sylvia (head chef) and Reina (sous chef) were amazing chefs with delicious meals prepared for our entire week stay. We literally couldn’t stop eating Sylvia’s food, and it was the only time we were quiet. She even prepared the fish we caught on our fishing trip! Thank you to Joanne for helping plan this trip and hooking us up with two awesome excursions!! I also loved the convenience of getting our Covid tests at the house before returning back to reality. We’ll definitely be back for another amazing trip!

I cannot say enough nice things about our stay at Wataview. Joanne, the manager, is knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. The house itself is just stunning and easily accommodates 2 families with grown children in 5 private bedrooms. The staff is fantastic with a special shout out to Sylvia the chef and her assistant Reina who kept us well fed throughout the week (as we had all our meals in due to covid). It truly was a wonderful vacation which I hope will become a yearly tradition. A huge thank you to all!

Wataview is perfectly appointed and tended to my an amazing staff. It is a high end hotel experience coupled with the benefits of a private home. Our trip included five couples which provided everyone a master suite plus a ton of indoor and outdoor living space. The reef is minutes from Wataview and the local dive operators pick up up at the end of the dock. Golf carts were delivered to the house and are a must to get to other sites on the island. While there were a number of good restaurants on the island, Sylvia is such an amazing chef, we had no need to dine out except for an occasional snack. I highly recommend this for a couples retreat or family vacation.

Our family has been coming to Belize for years and staying at the same hotel on the island. This year we took a chance by staying somewhere new We found Whataview and we have no regrets. The staff was as lovely as the home. We are already looking forward to returning.

My family loved everything about this place! It was a gorgeous home all around from the rooms, to the bathrooms, to everything around it outside. The pool was gorgeous and overlooks the beach. The staff we met were incredibly friendly and wonderful. I don’t have one negative thing to say about this place! It was a fantastic experience and I would recommend this place to anyone. We stayed here last June to celebrate my parents 70th birthdays, my brothers 40th and my husband and I's 10th wedding anniversary. We had the best time and the staff made sure each occasion was celebrated! It was a great place for our 4 young kids. There was so much to do at the house that you won't want to leave, unless you are wanting to go explore the cute town of San Pedro. The pool area is beautiful and the pier was great for fishing, swimming, snorkeling, etc. The staff is so amazing at making sure you do not lift a finger on your vacation. They help you truly relax and settle in. We have missed Sylvia and Claudias amazing cooking! We had such a good time that we have booked a trip back this summer with 4 other couples.
