The Villa 1 at Brahma Blue was amazing in every single way! Corrine was the best host, she was super attentive and accommodating! Her assistant Solany was a concierge extraordinaire! So kind and always available to assist! Between the two of them we were in the best hands for a stress-less group vacation! They gave us perfect guidance and not only did we rely heavily on their recommendations but they booked our reservations for us and were instrumental in making sure we maximized our 5 day Belize experience! Brahma has an on-site restaurant, The Coconut Cafe, great food and their staff was so great and walked our breakfast down to the villa! The dock is maybe 300 ft away and the complimentary private boats transport you into town for exploring! Dino is a great captain and is flexible with needs beyond the scheduled times! The villa is equipped with everything you need and its luxury and the daily housekeeping makes you feel like royalty! The home is beautifully decorated and the amenities are second to none! Right outside the villa is the perfect setup: fire pit, swing set, corn hole, and a pergola lined in rustic bulbs that looks beautiful day or night- its dreamy whether you're coming with family, friends or your significant other! Fresh native florals throughout the home and seemingly endless balcony levels and viewpoints set the tone for relaxing and/or the best photo ops! Top 3 things that enhanced our stay...
1. We hired a photographer and had a shoot on the island because seriously... it's simply beautiful!
2. We also hired a private chef, "Terry Lee" from Coconut Cafe and she prepared for us an exquisite Belizean buffet complete with plated appetizers and dessert for our special dinner.
3. We had a nurse to come to us at the villa administer our covid tests for our return flight to the US
Everything we did was well planned thanks to the thoughtfulness and attentiveness of our host Corrine!

Amazing Island Get Away
This was my friends and I first time travelling to San Pedro in Belize. We stayed in villa number two at Playa Villa and it was simply amazing. All the bedrooms had beautiful on-suite bathrooms, the kitchen was nice and big for cooking. We enjoyed Belkins by our private pools, and threw corn hole on the private beach. Dino was super accommodating and would shuttle us into the main part of San Pedro via boat whenever. Would highly recommend these villas for anyone visiting San Pedro!

Amazing property away from the hustle and bustle!
This place met all our expectations! Pictures are exactly as is and the house set up is fantastic for 4 couples. Corinna, Solany, and Dino, the property coordinators were very helpful. They were always available to answer our questions including options for transportation to the property and food provisioning. and the daily essentials of providing more towels, coffee or water, if the housekeeping hadn’t made it by yet. The 2 pools are fabulous and deck space offers areas for guests to enjoy quiet time. The air conditioned living space is also great for those needing a break from the heat, and there’s a great variety of books, games and access to Netflix, as well as a couple of pool floaties. We hired Nautilus Express, a private water taxi from Belize City to our property. This was an 1.5 hour boat ride, and they shuttled us from the airport to the grocery store, to the dock and directly to our dock at our property. This is great for those who don’t mind paying a bit more for your private transportation and not wanting to deal with another plane ride! Michele was very prompt at returning my inquiries. Donna from the Coconut Cafe was amazing as well! She does offer food provisioning services, but we found it just as easy to bring a few essentials from home and enjoyed some amazing supper at her cafe the night we arrived before heading to town the next day to buy a few groceries. Having the cafe so close to the property was great; the staff are so friendly and welcoming and food is fresh and delicious! I would recommend this property to those who want a place away from the hustle and bustle with easy access to town when feeling like some more activity! Thanks so much to everyone for making our vacation GREAT!

Private Island Oasis
I stayed here in May with a group of friends and had an unbelievable time! The villa was beautiful and the staff made it all the better. This is a must stay if you are looking for a luxury island getaway without breaking the bank! From the on-site restaurant, to the beachfront Infiniti pool to the rooftop patio to watch the sunset, it’s hard to find any flaws with Playa Villa. We had an amazing time and can not wait to come back!

Family and friends vacation
We are the type of people that have fun wherever we go. We combined wedding and excursions on this vacation. We had a beautiful time. That being said we were a little disappointed with our accommodations. There was a huge lack of communication on Corrina's part. She does not read her trip advisor emails. The pictures of the property is a bit deceiving. There is a beach there but you cannot swim in it. Anytime you want to go to dinner beach have fun in San Pedro you will have to go by boat. Which isn't the worst thing in the world but inconvenient, Dino is a staff member that goes beyond the call of duty. There are mosquitoes on the island which everyone knows. The rooms have mosquito nets but cannot be used properly. Hooks are way too high net does not cover the bed.
Staff members come and go whether you're there or away. I don't know about you but I like to know when staff will be in and out. Short power outage, wifi spotty at best. Other than those small inconveniences we managed to have a great time. When I stay here again no.

Our own piece of paradise
We traveled with a large group and had both Playa Villa #1 and #3. The setting was beautiful, right on the water. Dino and the housekeeping staff were great. Dino was patient with us and was happy to help in getting us back and forth from the Villas to San Pedro. Any repairs that needed to be made were addressed, at least acknowledged, right away. The group before us were not very gentle on the villas, but Dino was happy to help us out. We spent each day lounging in the pools, which were kept crystal clear. The Villas are beautiful with large bedrooms and HUGE bathrooms. We all slept comfortably. I will recommend Playa Villa Belize to friends who plan to travel to Belize.

First Stay Was Amazing....Our Return was Even Better
We visited Playa Villa's last year (our first time in Belize) only to return again a few weeks ago and it was phenomenal! Corrina, once again, went above and beyond in accommodating our every want/need. From arranging our transfer flights between Belize City & San Pedro to setting us up with a catamaran day sail that provided an open bar, brunch/lunch, a super crew, and swimming with Manatees! The villa looked just had it did on our first visit but even nicer with the update in decor, new amenities, and the private chef service along with the perfect weather inspired many many lazy days lounging around the pool making it very hard to leave. Hurricane Earl had just passed through but the villas were left unharmed which was a relief as we thought we were going to have to rebook for another date...we are so glad we didn't!!! Thank you Corrina for such an amazing time...we can't wait until next year!!

Stop looking and book already!
Corrina was probably one of the best hosts I've encountered. She helped arrange for us a private plane tour over the Blue Hole and a 3-day scuba diving trip to Hol Chan, Turneffe and Half Moon Caye. The house itself is located a 5-8 water taxi ride from San Pedro (the main town area), and Dino (the caretaker) is on call to take you back and forth. He's also available on a cell phone that's provided to you, and he helps with everything (eg. delivery services, restaurant recommendations, etc.) There is a security guard who monitors the grounds and the houses are far enough that you can't hear the neighbours. We stayed in Villa 2, where there is no washer/dryer, but the housekeeper can do it for you. She comes by every few days and tidies, which is really great. The neighbours also had a private chef brought to them on one night, which can be arranged through Corrina and Dino. We were there at the end of November, where there are mosquitos at dawn and dust, so bring bug spray if you plan to be outside the house during that time. I only have great things to say about this villa, so if you're debating between places, stop and book this place immediately. You won't regret it. I'm already looking forward to our next trip to San Pedro.

We traveled with a group of 8 people (4 couples). I booked this house about a year ago and spoke with Corrina, via email and telephone, numerous times. I had many concerns as we had never been to Belize before. However, through phone conversations and research, my concerns vanished. Corrina set up all of excursions and they were phenomenal.
The first day we were there, the group decided that they wanted to have a chef come to the house for the entire day. I called Teresa, Corrina's assistant/ property manager, and an hour later had the chef booked for the next day. We also decided to get massages on our pier the same day. One phone call was all it took and we had massages on our island on our dock the same day. We felt like royalty. It is tough to vacation this way!!!
The chefs were amazing. All of our food that day was delicious...words can not do it justice. We were truly spoiled after this. However, the food in San Pedro is fantastic. We did not have one bad meal. The massages were excellent as well.
The house is as pictured. It is fantastic. Villa 1 is perfect for a group of 8. One couple has to share a bathroom but it worked out as the bathroom they shared had two showers. There is a half bath downstairs for the group to use. We had plenty of dishes, cups, etc to prepare full meals. We did buy groceries in San Pedro prior to coming to the island.
This house is on its own private island. We had the place to ourselves for six days and it was incredible. The views are breathtaking. We did not swim in the ocean much but we spent many hours lounging poolside. It was a five minute boat ride to San Pedro. This was perfect. We were able to have quiet time on the island and then party/site see in San Pedro when we wanted.
Last, but not least...DINO...he did everything he could to make our stay fantastic. You could call him on the cell phone provided and he would be there momentarily. He did anything you asked of him at a moments notice. He really does an amazing job as the caretaker. He made our vacation so much more enjoyable.
For those of you with concerns, don't be. Staying in this house was like being at a private resort. We had housekeeping every other day. The toilet paper was never empty. The water station was always full. We didn't have to do much other than lay by the pool and enjoy our vacation.
We did a private snorkel trip with Tony from the Office. This was incredible. He took us to Hol Chan, Shark Ray Alley, and Mexico Rocks. He even took us to his private island in between and made lunch for us! This was worth every penny. The snorkel guide was amazing and we were able to see so much during all three snorkel trips. We even got the privilege of holding the sharks.
This was truly the best vacation we have ever been on. Ask for anything and you will receive it...I promise.

Once you land in Belize City, you can get to Ambergris Caye by air or by boat.
If you are weary of flying in small aircraft than I suggest taking the Belize Express - it is a 1.5 hour ferry from Belize City to Ambergris Caye. Our driver in Belize City would transfer you from the Airport to the Ferry Terminal at an additional cost, however transfers upon arrival/departure from the San Pedro Ferry Terminal and San Pedro Airport to your Villa is complimentary.
If you are totally fine with the flight, I highly suggest flying as it is a breathtaking 15 minute flight over the Barrier Reef and many Guests have stated it to be one of the highlights of their trip.
